    Yes its windows only, if you are remoting into another pc, needs to be done on both. Windows in the background tries to optimize the tcp connection as it's being used. This tells windows to not try to use larger packets to improve performance and to keep the packet sizes the same. Most of the time you would leave this be. But I have found that from time to time, this will actually make a connection more stable when working with timing sensitive things like remote desktop, Ms Teams, etc.
