It s a personal favorite album of a year, not the real nr.1 of a year.

The watershed year of 1970 produced a lot of great albums, but Paranoid wasn't one of them. Idlewild South, Morrison Hotel, After the God Rush, and the immortal Alone Together are all lightyears better! The same with 1974, if not as many. In 1986, the Eurythmics Revenge outclasses everyone else. I tried hard to like Automatic for the People, but it never clicked. There could be any number of names for this list, but "Best of" is not one of them. Also, "albums" before the arrival of the LP, circa 1948, were collections of 78 rpm records. Hank Williams Sings, in 1951, and 1952's Moanin' the Blues, should be on any list of "great albums", for their times.
Music is subjective but seriously bro? Paranoid is one of the most well-produced records of all time
