clear description , great videography , skilled craftsmanship . what a lagendary video of art. thank you for sharing
Only thing I was wondering is how that stormtrooper got on the overlook platfrom.. there is no door up there! ..lol Nice Model tho!
you are a real artist man
Thank you,very helpful!
You're welcome!
The scale of this build is so cool , next level awesome 💯👏
Glad you like it!
I find the lego part :-))
How would you suggest using this idea to print 3d wall panels on a larger styel FDM 3d printer like my bambu labs x1?
No reason why that machine can't print them as they are made flat on the resin printer.
Cómo realizo ese tono de pintura
It was actually made from a combination of tones - white acrylic and burnt umber with some yellow
Hi that is very, vey good, what did you use for the sand?
Actual sand.. I applied a layer of watered down PVA glue and sprinkled just fine sand over it and let it dry.
thanks :)
Ur boba fett knees are upside down
Oh well… next time I will get them right 🤔
please keep it up ...carry on
Do you have to treat the foamular board or remove the coating? I ask if theres even adhesion problems with the jesomite. Also I cant use a water based spackle or plaster of paris if I work quick for a Planet of the apes diorama. Thanks excellent work
Hi. Sorry for the late reply but no, I didn't treat the foamboard with anything before adding the Jesomite. It is a special plaster-like material that adheres to any surface so does not need any primer or coating before it is added. The great thing about it is it cures in 15-20 mins whereas plaster of paris can be fragile or brittle, Jesomite is very strong once cured.
Very nicely done, is that some Ian McQue's work in the intoduction's background? I too am a fan.
Yes, it is!
Fantastic job 💯
Thank you! Cheers!
That looks amazing
Thanks!
Amazing
Thanks!
beautiful work, well done!
Storm troopers seriously be standing right in front of the droids they're looking for and couldn't be the wiser
Great build!
Thank you!
The figures your using look too big for scale. I like you distressed look and details though. Also figures look way too clean.
Thanks for your comment Warren. I did size the buildings and all items using the same scale calculator and they are all correctly sized based on the figures being around 5ft 10” or so. They are all standard Bandai kits and have been weathered but appreciate, they could have been weathered more.
EXCELENTE !!
Thank you!
Truly superb! Impressive attention to details on the buildings and wonderful atmosphere...Thumbs up!
Thank you so much. Appreciate the comment! 😀

Thank you for that! I'm glad you liked the work - working on some more ideas right now!
Well done!
Thanks David
Awesome stuff! Just curious where the door from the barracks slides to open?
The doors don't open. They are fixed in place to the back foamboard panel
All I can say is…omg… 🤯
Thanks Jason

I was going to poke fun at you for calling your own shit epic, but I'll give it to you that was pretty epic👍🤣
Thanks. Was calling it epic for the months I spent on it! But I appreciate it might have sounded wrong 🤔
@@RedflareModels in the end it sounded perfect👍 you have inspired me to fill a shelf behind my desk in the same manor👍thanks for the epic video😉👊
That foam doesn’t look like insulation. What is it & where do you get it?
It’s XPS foam that’s used in wall insulation and can be bought from eBay. Comes in different thicknesses and densities and can be cut with a saw or hot wire tool.
Pro Tips. 1. Add in some fine stone that's multi-coloured to simulate the aggregate that would show in an older road. 2 Tint with acrylic paints to precolour for ashphalt or concrete. 3. Prepare your mould with some wax paper underneath and/or very thin foam. You can then lift it out and onto your diorama in one piece and the foam underneat will give it a bit of give making it easier to crack. It'll keep it nice and clean as well so you can re-use it right away or just to keep it neat. If you do a lot of diorama work making moulds for road widths or just square bases saves a lot of time and work.
Thanks - these are great tips!
finally, I'm searching this tips, thanks and Im go work diy diorama 1/12
👍👍👍
Awesome effect. To cool.
Thanks Tim. Glad you like the effect!
