V5 means singular from of simple present tense Add (S,ES,IES to V1 ) it becomes V5 Example: Sing + s = Sings Do + es = Does Carry + ies = carries Cry + ies = cries. Note : When V1 verbs ends with 'y' and before y consonants present then you should add ies to V1. Cry Carry Worry V1 means plural form of simple present tense.

Is the verb in Plural Form, Sir? What you're talking about is called "Noun / Subject Number i. e. Singular and Plural." If the Subject is in Singular Form, so should the Verb too (in Singular Form), and if the Subject is in Plural Form, so should the Verb too (in Plural Form). This process is called "The Verb Conjugation or The Subject and Verb Agreement;" whereas a verb is a word which tells (1) an action and (2) the time of an action. So, my dear sir, V1 కి 's / es / ies' add చేయడంవల్ల Noun / Subject Number తెలుస్తుందే గానీ, Verb Form మారదు. అది (Verb) Present Simple లోనే ఉంటుంది. మరి, Verb Form మారానప్పుడు Tense మారదు కదా? అలాగే, Tense మారనపుడు మీకు ఈ V5 ఎక్కడినుండి పుట్టుకొచ్చింది? English grammar లో మొత్తం నాలుగు Verb Forms మాత్రమే ఉంటాయి: (1) V1 - దీన్ని Base Form అంటారు. ఇది Present Tense - Simple Form లో వాడబడుతుంది. దీనిలోని భాగమే ఈ యన చెబుతున్నటువంటి V5. అసలు V5 అనేది లేదు. నువ్వు professional books ఏవి చూసినా నీకు ఇది కనబడదు. దీన్ని Present Tense లోనే Simple Form లో Third Person - Singular (He, She, It, This, That & Noins), అంటే, V1 కి s / es / ies suffixes add చేసి వాడతారు. e.. g. - S/He/John goes to school regularly. So, tense మారితేనే Verb Form మారుతుంది. ఎందుకంటే: "Tense is a form of Verb which tells about the TIME of an action." So, time మారకుండా Verb Form మారదు! Full Stop. కొంతమంది variety కోసం కొత్త కొత్త విషయాలు కనిపెడుతుంటారు. కానీ, వాటివల్ల విద్యార్థులు నష్టపోతుంటారు - ముఖ్యంగా, Competitive Exams లో. ఇక V2 - Past Tense - Simple కి వాడబడుతుంది.
