James was born in Wheaton and now resides in rural Poolesville, MD. James attended the Corcoran School of Art, Montgomery College and the University of Maryland.
James uses Classic techniques and skill for his paintings. His art transforms the ordinary into revealing objects of interest.
James has participated in many communities art programs. He was President of the Montgomery Art Association where he was previously Vice President. His work has sold well locally. He is a well know artist and instructor in his community.
