It's the League Cup Final in 1991. I was in my mid 30s and I shed quite a few tears, not when Sheridan scored, not when the final whistle went, not when Pearson raised the cup, but when the teams walked out onto the pitch. That's when it hit me that, for the first time in my life, we were there, we were part of the occasion, which every supporter hopes to be, but you (almost) never are when you support a club such as Wednesday (and 90% of the others, to be fair). Unforgettable - the pinnacle of my 60 years as a Wednesdayite.

This was a lot of fun, great new format imo, anywhere between 30 and 60 minutes works well for it. P.S. Sheridan was a great player but I've never felt he really cares much for the club. Short story here: I dunno if you remember when the first few Player Wall Plaques went up on the South Stand, but they had a competition to win a free one on the Sheridan wall. I was one of maybe 10 people who won and we were meant to meet Shezza as we receive our personalised plaque...it never happened, clearly he was too busy to ever meet us fans. I get the feeling that Barry would never miss something like that.

Thanks for this Guys. Tanganya missed those defeats as he was suspended and once reunited with Cooper at the regular back 4 e did not concede. Also,for the first time in over 60 years,I never attended our opening Home match v Watford after having a paid ticket as we played with one diminutive, 32-year-old striker against 3 giant defenders but now we have signed 3 main forwards, one of which: Coburn made his debut against yourgoodselves. Good Luck to a proper Football Club and fans:). With our Club record signing;A Serbian striker to come in and a strong squad, Millwall should climb the league now.
