I have been subscribed here for these videos for a few years now (probably around 5) and have enjoyed many times. I am so glad you are starting them up again!.

This is a good song, Jim. Only trouble is that the vocals are hard to make out unless you have the words there to read. I think the reason for this is that you don't have any control over your recording process. Here is what I suggest. There is a free recording program called Audacity. You may even already have it. With it, you can multi-track your recording, which would allow you to put your guitar on one track and your vocals on another and even have other tracks for other guitar and vocal parts if you want to. All you need is a computer with a microphone and a pair of headphones and you can do the job. In the end, you will be able to make far superior recordings of your songs with little or no financial investment.

Yes Mike, I have this one and two others from that time saved in digital format. I did it by recording a video (just a stationary shot) of the music and extracting that music from the video itself...bingo bango, digitally saved. I should probably burn a CD with them though, just in case something (God forbid) happens to my computer. :-)

You should transfer that to a CD if you haven't already done so.

I can see where you would assume that. The video isn't exactly in sync with the music. Some of those who've posted on here have seen me play live, and all the videos I have put up (save a few music style videos) have been me playing live in front of my digital camera. No edits, no changes. What you see is what you get. Check out some of my other videos.

@jimclbn I mean we see what happened to the disciples after Jesus rose from the dead and was taken up into heaven. They had many victories, but were also whipped, imprisoned, and ultimately murdered. There's a book I would recommend to you entitled "Jesus Freaks". It's about men, women, and children who were martyred for Christ's sake. They refused to deny Him even when faced with death. Stories from all over the world.

@djjireh Often times, the disipline may be a season of separation...a drought if you will. (BTW I have a song I wrote and posted here in YT that addresses this entitled "Far Away"). Have you ever heard the say, "You can't value the mountaintops until you have walked in the valley"? Jonah was chastised by God...David...Gideon... And in the New Testament, Jesus warned that in this world we would have tribulation, but to be of good cheer because HE had overcome the world. There are many NT examples

thanks, but the question still stays..HOW does He discipline us..We went through HELL the last 2 years and with no control over it. So much bad happened to us. Thousands of $ in debt. Things got stolen, things broke etc etc...I don't like the thought that God disciplined us like that...Then basically it makes Him responsible for that..So my thought is - As a SON in the Kingdom, is that god who punished us & if God is good, shouldn't He protect his son's from things like that?
