I got my Comptia A+ in the fall of 2022. After 2 1/2 years I have gotten one interview and did not get the job. I would suggest people not get the A+, the industry has shifted away.

Studied maybe an hour or less daily for 2-3 months and my 1101 test is in 2 days. I feel ready, and have covered all of the info a few times, revisiting weaker areas that I identify with free practice tests. If you take a year on it, you are definitely kidding yourself. Maybe you wanted to study 😂

If want to work in the network infrastructure.Comptia server+comptia network+ is a way to start.I have a solid work experience with hardware.I don't think that troubleshooting wireless mouse issues will bring me closer to network infrastructure.

I have recently been presented with the opportunity to get into a cybersecurity training course but i have 0 training in the fundamentals. Basic knowledge from everyday use that is all. I am very keen to learn and willing to put in the effort to succeed, i currenty work in the construction industry and really looking for a change in career. Im studying the fundamentals at home on my own but i worry it wont be enough.
