We went to Wurstfest in New Braunfels TX, for the German sausage and Oktoberfest celebration this weekend. Had a great time. Drank lots of great German beers, eat lot of food. Great music! wurstfest.com

Best swimming hole in Austin Tx. The San Marcos river at Rio Vista Park. The water is a perfect 72 degrees year round. It is spring feed so it is a constant flow river. Never runs dry. I visited the Barton Hill farms fall festival and got lost in the corn maze. Its just outside Austin Texas in Cedar Creek Tx. Great family fun. Best tubing on the San Marcos river in San Marcos Tx. Close to Austin and San Antonio. The river is spring feed, a perfect 72 degrees year round. Causal float or go over the rapids. The only thing that sucks about this place is the alligator infestation and that time that guy had his foot bit off by the alligator.
*32 miles south* of Austin. NOT in Austin. Texas State University in San Marcos is the only Texas university to produce a president of the United States. San Marcos can stand on its own.

Oh man I remember going on my birthday in June and the day before it was so hot and then the day we went tubing is was 50 degree weather....fun
