Funny thing, the Traction Control (US term: 'Controller') looks identical to a unit fitted to a USA Trolley; the key difference being placement vis à vis the brake handle, the two being reversed on, say, an IRT train.

The 2 car class 142 pacers are wearing the original Northern Rail livery because they were off lease in November 2020 alongside with the 2 and 3 car class 144s and 1 single car class 153s. Class 142 pacers honestly have a unrefurbished toilet 🚽 and doesn’t have a disabled toilet 🚽 🚻. All based on standard class accommodation only. It may be cold 🥶 inside the 142 pacer train 🚊, however not as cold 🥶 as it happens outside. Very uncomfortable 😳 trains 🚂. They are wheel 🛞 and track wear which means the railway 🚃 track could be worn out by the pacer trains 🚊. Crappy 💩 trains 🚊 in the world 🌍. The seats 💺💺💺💺 are very uncomfortable 🥴. It’s a rough ride. Class 142 pacer trains 🚊 were previously used for local services. Only happened in England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. The side of windows 🪟🪟🪟🪟 are an open window 🪟. Used to love going to Cambridge as a teenager on these it was back in the 90s always remember the bogies made a horrendous amount of noise on the curved sections towards audley end it was like a ringing clattering sound I still don’t know what caused that till this day but they’ve modified the track after 2000 in some way and you no longer hear it.

It drives a lot better than the one I drove for east yorkshire motor services. That thing couldn't pull its way out of a wet paper bag. When you went around corners, the body would lift away from the floor near the drivers right foot. I did loads of weddings with it. Happy days 😁
