Taiji Circle Lucky Dragon is a school with a syllabus of Chen Taijiquan and Qi Gong weekly classes and monthly workshops for health and wellbeing in venue and on Zoom. Over the years we have shared videos of Shifu Liu Quanjun, a 20th generation teacher and disciple of Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang, performing taiji demonstrations and reference material for our students, or displays of hard qi gong.

Shifu Liu Quanjun travelled with the 2019 China Jiaozuo Tai Chi Cultural Tour - The Thousand Miles on the “The Belt & Road”, to Edinburgh, Oxford, and finished in London with Tai Ji Circle. Tai Ji Circle celebrates China’s cultural ‘gift’ of Taijiquan (Tai Chi Chuan), that is loved and shared worldwide, and help to promote exchange between British and Chinese peoples.

A team of Tai Ji Circle students were honoured to perform a blend of Yang, Chen and Wu tai chi (taijiquan) styles with some of the top ranking Chinese Wushu Masters, at the Chinese Martial Arts Night Show in London. Congratulation to the team, given that they only had a minimum amount of time to practice together, before appearing on stage.

Shifu Liu first created and taught Sifang Quan (Four-Direction Fist) for his UK students in 2002 to provide them with a short Chen Taijiquan form suitable for beginners. It can be performed in two directions which is excellent for balancing energy and promoting good health.

Amidst the hubbub of London traffic we gave a free class of Foundation Chen Tai Ji in the park. Included are excerpts from the Tai Ji Circle's syllabus, standing practice, silk reeling exercises and Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang's 9 Step Form, which all contribute to learning the fundamentals and principles of the Chen style taijiquan.

So nice to find this vdo😁 Greetings everyone at Taiqi Circle especially to u Christine n Shifu Liu n the Chinese 师姐 whose name has escaped me for now., My family of 4 used to come during around 2011 at Camden on Sundays n became members for a period but sadly we moved away n became too far to do the runs. We are now back in HK. For those interested in Taiqi, U have come to the right place. As a martial art practitioner for over 50 years, I can assure u that you have found a very good Master to learn from with a bunch of very helpful senior members. Good luck and good health to u all.

Excellent demonstration of Real Practitioner in Martial Arts. Soft, Hard, Strength, Steadiness and Calm in unison truly a Master of his craft. Beautiful to watch and mighty difficult to achieve. Few youngsters have such devotion to the art nowadays. Priceless!
