This channel was created as a repository for songs I have written over the years, especially in the last 5 years. The lyric content is all Christian. This is all intended to both honor God and serve as an encouragement to my fellow Christians. Those who are not followers of Christ may also enjoy these songs, especially if you know me. The initial posting with have 2 songs but subsequent postings will be 1 song every 1-2 weeks depending on production time. In addition to writing and performing all of the songs, I have had to, out of necessity, do all of the recording, editing, mixing, mastering, and video creation. I am still learning a lot of these steps so you will need to be forgiving as I am not a professional in any of these aspects. There is an introductory video that updates my appearance for those who have not seen me in a while. So until next time, Soli Deo Gloria (SDG).

This song was written in the 70s and is specifically for a wedding service. I recorded the guitar part in 2018 with my late friend, Dave Pujals, serving as the recording engineer. This song is built around 1 Cor 13:1-8, the so called "love chapter". The love spoken of here is not romantic love (ie Greek eros) but God's love (ie Greek agape with 3 syllables). This song is different, stylistically, from my previous posted songs. It is built around Psalm 28:7-9 using several different versions and other Psalms to compile the lyrics. I do appreciate your suggestion. At some point, I will do a live video. But my focus at this time is just to get all these songs produced using the current format. I do have some challenges that are pushing me to continue this for now.
