Located in Chiefland FL, recently drove by and saw the icon was Replaced with a brand new Ryko softgloss maxx 5, ughhhhh those things are everywhere, unreliable and boring , it was kinda sad to see especially since icons are fairly rare

Well guys this is where the old vector rapid wash used to be, this wash did a fine job better wash quality compared to the old rapid wash , this system in my opinion was set up oddly cause of the way the wash cycle starts and the high pressure spot free rinse at the end , they still kept the old air cannon dryers Located in Ocala FL at Sunoco/nascar themed gas station

Did a great job , especially for a fairly short wash cycle but it cleaned the car well and shined it good too , plus the free vacuums being an extra bonus too , I’d give this place a thumbs up 👍🏼 ,as always enjoy the video and like comment and subscribe

Did a good job but struggled with getting the bugs off but though it seemed like the brushes didn't really rub against the car as good as they should've but my mom's car hasnt been washed in a few weeks so that could be another reason but as always enjoy the video and please like comment and subscribe

The wash did a great job, very interesting and cool system , CORRECTION: This bay actually used to have a Mark VII GT series touchfree system in it NOT a vector rapid wash , I got the $13 wash because i didn't have enough to get the $15 wash, I personally feel like they are going to Replace the Mark VII weasumat with a PDQ laserwash 360 or G5-S , also a new owner took over this place about a ye...

The wash did an excellent job. Even tho the wash packages were kinda pricey and the wash cycles seemed a bit short . the guys up at the payment machines give you a generous hand wash before you go through which i really appreciated . the wash featured a touchfree system (PDQ laserwash 360) and a soft touch system (PDQ Protouch Tandem) the wash seems to be fairly maintained and very nice staff ....

Located in Ocala FL , after a good wipe off the wash did a great job especially for a basic wash , and p.s at the end you might see a little spider on the outside of the windshield don't worry I used the free vacuum to get rid of it , sorry I only got the basic but it was wacky Wednesday $3 carwash and plus in a couple days were going to illinois and my dad wanted me to get his truck cleaned up...

Sorry I waited a couple days before I started uploading this video I was busy , any ways the wash did a great job and it seems to be keeping up well , they modified the wash packages a bit and changed the way the system performs but it still did great and I love these Mark VII wash systems because they are in my opinion one of the best designed systems to wash a vehicle properly and the dryers ...

Located in Ocala FL at splash and dash car wash ,they replaced the old pdq Laserwash 4000 that was previously here ,shout out to carwash explorations for telling me about this, I love this new Laserwash 360 plus that's here ,it's a very nice system with very nice features ,such as the new improved wash arm , overglow and more efficenticy , though the old Laserwash 4000 will be missed , R.I.P Go...

It’s a sad machine a pure epic failure but don’t know where this carwash is gonna move to unless if it works like working fast and smooth too.
Oh my goodness, I cannot believe this. I’ve seen one of these, but it’s kind of sad that they’re closing.

UPDATE: This wash has since reopened! But it is now under new ownership and the tunnel now has Coleman Hanna equipment.
Yeah. PDQ ProTouch Tandem would be my choice more than the PDQ Laserwash 360. Both products are discontinues now. Today, their is only PDQ Laserwash 360 Plus and the PDQ Tandem Surfline.

Usually car washes on the basic wash you don’t get as much no undercarriage or blow dryer and on the top wash you get more with undercarriage and blow dryer

April 2021 Update: I checked a Street View and This System got replaced to Softgloss MAXX (1stGen Or 2nd Gen) Blue Body | Dirty Red/Yellow Brushes
Did the laser wash 4000 replace a ryko system? If so witch one?
Awesome! We have one near us! It has a Skytrak.
Ryko was the KING in the early 2000s late 90s, but now they are kind of eh. I loved the mid 2000s era of machines.

Softgloss Maxx 5 are still however great. PDQ Protouch Icon did had issues sometimes on some. I guess that explained why PDQ discontinued the Protouch Icon and created the 3 brush Tandem Surfline. PDQ should think of creating a 5 brush model.
Phillips 66 bought out hucks. This is most likely a radius now.

This looks good. By request can you film Nemos Express Car Wash in Sunrise, Florida (which is like Car Wash & Detail in Bellview which is now closed) and Main Street Car Wash in Boyton Beach Florida? If you can that would be awesome.

I love that car wash there does a great job every week when I take it through there...dusty back road ride to work in mt Vernon
Glad to hear that you like it , yeah the car was really dirty after a 13 hour road trip from FL to IL so there was alot of bugs and dirt , but it got pretty much a majority of it off with a great shine the vehicle, I'd recommend it 👍

I absolutely love these Mark VII systems. WashWorld and PDQ are fantastic manufacturers too, but there are far too many near me. My car wash will feature a PECO tunnel, a Mark VII in-bay system and a couple self service bays.
Too bad that this one is no longer operational :(. There’s quite a few modern Mark VII systems near me. Both soft touch and touch free. I even know of a old 2000’s SoftWash system.

I believe it's in the process of reopening because there's a sign in the front that says "future home of Sweetwater carwash" I'll take a video of it when and if it reopens
