So so so so so iconic 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤ love all of them, I cam here trying to find a specific oen, and it was called "strange dance" absolutely love these. That isnone of the main things that made destiny good, but it started the cycle of greed hell sadly 😢💔 still what amazing memories we got.

Dance parties in the D1 Tower. The best of vibes. Stuff like that in D2 are hard to come these days.

The vibes here are immaculate. The armor is incredible and the dances have so much more energy. D2 just feels so flat compared to TK and RoI.

D1 had an atmosphere and aesthetic that's wholly lacking in D2. Much as I love playing the game with all its quality of life improvements (vaulting/climbing is amazing), D1 had the isolated feel of 'Yes. This IS a post-apocalyptic world. Yes, we are attempting to rebuild slowly but surely, but every minute is preciously bought.'. Not to mention, as previous comments have stated, the animation just felt... better? Crisper? And I honestly prefer the vendor screens more. Especially when it came to quest hand-ins. Flavour text is nice, but having the NPC actually speak to me like I was being briefed on a mission (as opposed to a canned line) made me feel like I was part of the world. Sure, its gotten better since Forsaken dropped three years ago, but its not quite there. There's also the fact that I can't decide to go back and replay old missions on harder difficulties anymore in D2 like I could in D1. For instance, the new season - Season of the Lost? or any of the Legacy seasons - I can't replay the opening mission on a new character once I've played it on my main. The experience was... for lack of a better term, much more cinematic in D1. For instance, the start of the Taken King? When we first meet the Taken and Oryx on Phobos, having that head just _appear_ out of no where and scream 'LIGHT! GIVE YOUR WILL TO ME! (or to that affect)' - scared the hell out of me. It was amazing. I can't think of a single time in D2 year 1 where I felt the same. Shadowkeep tried to recapture that lovecraft vibe, but it ultimately fell short. And for armour? Well, while each Guardian class had their noticeable silhouettes, they just seemed more 'real', ya know? Where the design principle seemed to be 'We are dressed according to our specialisms, but we are also dressed to move and fight freely'. Where as in D2, the principle seems to be all about flare over substance. D1 Warlocks, they're wearing 'robes', sure but they look more like overcoats that won't get in the way while running, jumping and gunslinging, D2 Warlocks, Most of the endgame gear makes them look like Disney princesses. D1 Hunters, looked like they belonged in the wilds and had a kit-bashed look and feel to match their long periods out in the world. D2, they look like athletes being sponsored by the latest greatest sports gear. D1 Titans, while they were armoured and had subtle marks to accent their attire, they _looked_ nimble enough to run and gun as fast as the other two classes. D2 Titans look like they're having shoulder guard measuring contests with each other. And lets not talk about the shader system, or the ornaments. As much as I enjoy D2, there was just more variety and beauty to D1's design. And more often than not, I actually wish for a D1 port to PC/Steam. Where as D2 initially (and still does to a degree) feels like it should've been DLC, but instead was stretched out into its own game. Admittedly, I also prefer the D1 upgrade system and experience system with the subclasses. Sure, there were meta builds of perks, but it was still a joy to play. (I miss Sunsinger Warlocks. The Self-Rez was a god-send in many a Nightfall)

It's enough to make a grown man cry. Thank you, Bungie and this amazing community for such a great game. Can only hope Destiny 2 can somehow reach this level of fun again.

I used to have the armor at 0:54 and man do I miss it. I haven't had the chance to play Destiny 2 but I'll wait until they get all the DLC in and buy it altogether. I wonder if they have it there too.
