I'm a randbags gamer, but since finding this channel, I've actually been experimenting with teambuilding and having a really good time. It's the first time I've ver really done that. I hope this channel takes off, because Singles needs some really straightforward guides on teambuilding.

meowscarada is a great counter lead to basically every big stupid ground type and an excellent switch in to big stupid water types that aim to get momentum. makes the opponent think twice about leading tusk as it would simply die. plus meowscarada gives you good insurance against other HO stuff.

if only torkoal were great tusk with drought. i mean hes got rapid spin and stealth rock thats basically a great tusk.

Something I feel is missing from your great analysis is the tera explanation. Like, why that specific tera type and when is it a good time to tera your pokemon?

I tried taking Protect + Lefties Scizor is a sort of homage to pre-roost scizor. It failed miserably except in the matchups against Kyurem. #bringbackRoostScizor

There was an RMT by Cape Canaveral released on November 5 featuring Ninetales, Walking Wake, Hatterene, Landorus-Therian, Lokix and Raging Bolt. I imagine people playing this team would be the cause. Lando-T is also pretty unique on a sun team, as I think most people would generally choose Tusk instead. If you look at the usage stats, Lando-T's usage is only just above Lokix's, and Great Tusk's usage with Ninetales dropped off from last month

this morning I woke up with a hangover, a commute, and 3,000 wasps to classify before my lunch break, this video is a real life saver!

Gamefreak is really going all in on bug types in Gen 10 I guess, fair enough since they're long overdue for a buff. You've got a knack for this science communication stuff! I found the video really engrossing and am now fully invested in this waspy journey. If you're looking to scare the public, maybe explicitly say "parisitic wasp trapping" and slap the scariest wasp picture you can find in there. Parasitoid by itself isn't super punchy if you're not in the space I think. And it's a long way down the track but when you're working on a field Id app it'd be worth looking into cheap microphones or macro lens adapters for phone cameras, since regular phones would probably just see specks. Very excited to see what kind of correlations you can cook up!

Cool project! It sounds to me as though you are testing for field predictions after running preliminary tests. IE. you take measurements in locations A, B, and C, then formulate a hypothesis, then take measurements at location D in order to test your hypothesis. What is the benefit of this over taking measurements at A, B, C and D concurrently? You could analyse the combined data, then confirm trends hold up for each location. Or alternatively, if you really wanted to have confirmation from an independent location, you could just hold the data from location D separately as more of a test dataset, and not use it in formulating initial results.

I enjoy a good beret and wanted one for ages, but it's been really stereotyped in the past.
