Audition will always be better. No way around it. Just like AE will always be better for effects.

This is a mixer feature, no 'remix' about it whatsoever. The Remix feature from Premiere it is definitely more useful. Hope that DVR gets some hints about that one specifically, it will make the switch from Premiere a no-brainer.
To be honest I initially also thought "Oh cool, they now have the same feature as Premiere Pro". To my shock, it's not the "remix" tool we know. Still not a take away from the Davinci one's capability-but I agree, if they can make it actually extend & compress tracks, it would be cool.

Now that you mention. I actually agree hey.
you forgot to put the magic mask mode to better that way the shimmering and flicker would disappear and you can refine the edges to make the mask even better!
He also neglected to use the refine edge tool in the Roto Brush settings in AE to clean up the edge issues.

DaVinci Resolve is king. That's why I switched back in 2020. It's mind blowing how far it's come and how simple it is to operate.
I must say, as someone who uses both, I am impressed how far its come as well.
Workflow in AE is abit easier for me. But results in this video in resolve seem better. Isn’t a clear winner unfortunately
Yes. Honestly they are both very capable applications.
Filmora might be a more mainstream video editor, but it has a really cool AI masking and tracking feature as well!

you didn't make changes more in After Effect mask setting, actually After Effect x100 better than any other Video Editor.. :)

also, as arthur pointed out - you didnt choose the best settings in Resolve, and you didnt touch the Reduce Chatter-slider in AE. This isnt a test of which one is better, more a test of how quickly you get a first draft of a roto.
