The spanish tercios were voluntaries that they all used to use 3 weapons at the same time, arquebus for long range, halberd to stop cavalry charges and a sword with a dagger for close range. just tell me a better unit than that!

Iirc, Bushido was only about honor, not about honor. Therefore, a Samurai acting in a cruel manner to ensure victory was still absolutely acceptable behavior under bushido. Moreover, the Naginata and Yari were also much more important for a samurai than a sword. A sword is a backup weapon, their actual weapon was either a polearm or a ranged weapon. I had many other corrections to make (like how archers were used for thousands of years in warfare, not hundreds), but they were about such minor things that I think making them would just be pedantic.
