Great video! The quality is excellent, and the content is very informative. Keep up the great work!👏
Happy new year 🎉
I have a 2000 manual sedan and I friggin love it, it's so light and feels like a good kart, as a fellow BC resident with the 5 speed gearbox it's an absolute blast on the sea 2 sky.
It would help if year and sub-model were posted.
bought a 2001 white Toyota echo 2 door little over a year ago as my first car for 2,500$ off a craigslist ad, i was a little nervous at first but the car has held up very well. incredible gas milage, i think im going to keep it for a long time. only issue is the serpentine belt squeaks which im fixing soon. its made it from san diego to Vegas multiple times, doesn't like hills, especially around the cajon pass too much though.
One last thing sorry: if you are going to do a review of an Audi with AWD capability, SHOWCASE its AWD capability!!! Wait for the snows!! It will ASTOUND!! Keep the windscreen mounted camera mounted and show yourself passing all of the other vehicles (including some SUVs) which are stuck on the road while you effortlessly glide by serenely listening to Bach! Honestly! It baffles me now how many reviewers have chosen to review the car and haven't shown its STELLAR feature which is the QUATTRO! They are always the last one standing and almost never get stuck. Even if the car were sorely lacking in other respects (which it isn't), the Audi Quattro is so damn good that many would still purchase it just for this feature alone.
I would also suggest a mounted camera to record you whilst driving and commentating. Perhaps it's a budget thing just starting out, but a shaky hand-held perspective (with a little too much headroom at that) in the cabin looks amateurish. Again just a small point. You definitely posses very good inherent skills to present and do this sort of thing, so keep going and I wish you the very best of luck with it.
Your usage of the words "do" and "does" is overt and gratuitous. They should only be used to make a more emphatic point. Using them all of the time before your verb just renders void that emphasis you desire. This then irritates the listener who feels that you are insisting that every point which you are making is intended as emphasis. This cannot be the case as then nothing is more important or less important. Examples: Incorrect: "The Audi does have a nice interior. It does have heated seats and it does have an adjustable steering column. Whilst it does not have a sunroof, it does have aircon so you do keep you cool in the heat." Correct: "The Audi has a nice interior. It has heated seats, and an adjustable steering column. Whilst it does not have a sunroof, it *does* have aircon to keep you cool in the heat." Can you see the difference? The former is laborious and taxing to the listener. When it *does* come to using "does" you have lost all emphasis through the former repetition where it wasn't needed. Please have a think about jt as you are otherwise a fine presenter with thoughtful interesting things to say; and your camera angles, and your direction and sound are all very good.
The bZ4X offers a smooth ride quality, comfortable front seats, and a quiet cabin, making it a great option for daily commutes.
I got a vg33 it’s a vampire
I love my echo. It's a 2001 echo Roxy edition. I bought it in 2002, used, with 28 miles at about $15,800. I only have like 68,000 miles on it. lol
Quite late question, but do you onow where she got that screen from?
The headunit was an Eonon made for that gen of Mazda 3. I'm not sure if they still make them
@drivecore2021 thank you!
This Review is so good! Needs more attention definetly!❤
Thank you very much! I appreciate you saying that!
Here in Southern California I see about 5 of these on the road every week
I found one at a machanic shop that looks like it has been sitting forever. . All the tires are flat and the spare is currently in the back seat im going to ask if i can buy it when i see the owner
Toyota sold a lot of these at first an I see a lot today I like hatch back 😮
I have a 2008 Toyota Yaris with 52K miles on it and a 2006 Scion XB with 70k on it. Both extremely reliable. Had a 2010 KIA before these... now that was a sh*tbox!
on my 3rd echo, 330 000km on it and the other 2 went over 500 000km. I can fit a table saw and miter saw in the trunk
its 99% the same car how is there even a comparison.
I love mine as well but I always drove it like I stole it and now it's toast at 260K miles. I'll be looking for another one to abuse! lol ruclips.net/video/7D_MqVEjhzY/видео.htmlsi=64ruG2f64pcHkGXR
Merry Christmas 🎅
The bZ4X has a sleek design, a decent range, and modern tech features. It may not be flashy, but it’s a dependable and efficient EV that gets the job done right.
Been working in my career over 11 years, making 6 figures i still drive my Echo as a daily. 44MPG can't go wrong. Just change mufflers and it keeps going ❤
Good review man, I am actually thinking about buying one right now and this video is helping a lot. If you fix some things such as the audio mix and the lighting I recon you will go a long way
I agree with your other points, however apart from perhaps his very last shot I can't honestly fault his lighting. I think it was fine throughout. He does not have a Top Gear budget.
Amazing video! Great quality review
I have 2003 SE 4x4 since 2008. 135K miles. The biggest problem is oil burning like crazy. I replaced the Valve cover gaskets but it's leaking from either rear main or upper oil pan. Usual wear and tear. The best car I had by far. I'm struggling to with which model to replace it. Can you help me suggesting the model? R50 is the perfect balance between sport and utility. 3.5 has the guts, you have good ground clearance and not afraid to go off the road. It has perfect interior space and part-time 4wd with low range. I'm struggling to find a car that has both good sporty behaviour and good utility and offroadability.
I have its replacement, the Yaris. Same bullet proof engine and transmission. Being a hatchback, it is more useful than the sedan.
Thank you for a nice NORMAL review. Very helpful!
So...the Allroad isn't a giant leap forward in terms of driving experience? If your B7 was all sorted would you choose it over the Allroad as your daily driver?
The Allroad is slightly more refined in ride quality and interior noise. However, the "solid" quality is not up to par with the B7, at least in my opinion. If the B7 was slightly better on fuel, I would daily drive it.
How much did this mk6 GTI sell for?
$5700 CAD
Great video
I just bought a 2004, I simply love it.
the tiburon / hyundai coupe 1998 2.0 RD has 2.0L that can take boost up to 20psi with stock internals!
Just got a 2010 with the 5.4 with 109k miles runs and drives great just need to replace a few things like the crankshaft position sensor and a really good tune up got it for 5k and it’s valued at 11k
I am in Australia I am getting around 5ltr to 100 kilometres out of both my 1.3ltr manual hatches Really not far off the returns you get no longer sold Prius that was discontinued in Australia in 2022 The Prius was $48,000 AUD I PAID $150.00 AUD for my 2005 silver hatch wirh 94,000 kilometres on it And $3500.00 for my white hatch with 26,000 kilometres on it Top little cars
My 2001 Pathfinder is a basic stock model which was neglected many years by its former owner (he didn't even perform basic maintenance routine like changing the oil and filter, its engine overheated a couple times due to low coolant level and hoses leaks with not apparent damage to it). It has 265k miles on it. I've been consistently trying to bring it to specifications, it now runs like a Swiss clock. I wouldn't change it for anything. This vehicle is an indestructible tank. ❤
I bought one of these new in 2004. First new car ever. It has survived 4 teenage drivers and still going strong. Like a mini tank. Incredible gas mileage. Love the review!
Mine is at 191,000km and I just done a major amount of work to make it last as long as possible! I did the following last 2 weeks Timing Chains, New turbo, upgraded fuel injectors, carbon cleaning, IE intake, new headliner, new DSG shift knob, new Wingback seats, new ignition switch, Cobb exhaust and stage 1 tune. I am really OCD and service it every 5000km or 6 months and use only Liqui Moly products. last year I put Bilstein B6 shocks with 10mm lowering springs. EDC pads and rotors as well as PS5 tyres and Mk7 gti wheels.
Oh my. You've done a lot of stuff. Fortunately, these cars seem easy to work on (for the most part). It sounds like yours will go forever with the care you gave it 😊
How tall are you?
5'11"
Had me cracking up at the deadpan narration. Good on you! I'm buying one of these today to show off how much I'm saving with that ECHO badge on the back, hahahaha!
I have a 2018 Mazda 3 Touring and I really love my car! I think Mazdas 3rd gen was mazda at their best!
Do you still have the RAV4? I have a 2004 5-spd 2.4L gas, it has been a wonderful car.
Unfortunately, I don't as it got into an accident a few years back. It was great car for the very short amount of time that I drove it. I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying it. Take care of it and it will last forever.
You can check my car too
Hey Nathan, we met in Calgary in 2022 either in November or early December. Are you still in Victoria because I moved to Victoria last year. Let me know if you want to hang out or do a video together
Absolutely, we should collab on something in the new year!
No driving section showing the cars abilities, sad.
Once it's fixed up. I will show all its potential 😁
@drivecore2021 i think a Nissan sentra will be faster
Thankyou, bout to buy one
Great review! I'm about to purchase a 2019 Fiat 500L. I didn't have it in mind at all but was shown it at the dealership. At first I wasn't sure; I thought it wasn't quite my style, but, I found I couldn't stop thinking about it that night and slowly fell in love LOL! I had to have it! I love its quirkiness, love the interior space and it feels safe. I think it's really stylish and here in the UK, so many new cars are looking the same with their space age exteriors. This looks and feels classic and I really can't wait to pick it up on Thursday!
Super simplistic, easy to drive and cheap and reliable! If only the car manufacturers would make something like this for young people in the modern day! Sure it looks wacky but, you won’t care when you’re the one who can get the whole friend group to the beach and back using the least amount of gas!
Affordable and cheap or two different things that you're too ignorant and arrogant to recognize. Toyota Echo was made in Japan by Toyota by the highest skill labor in the world and there was nothing cheap about it. I've seen them with 500.000 miles motor never opened and same for the transmission if you take care of them as I always say in a hands-on an idiot anything will break.
I have It's predecessor Toyota Tercel with 456.000 miles motor (5E-FE) and transmission never opened these are great cars. Americans are just too stupid to see that. Gas Guzzling transmission blowing turbo dropping pos f150 is a better choice. That's why everyone is in debt up to their eyeballs and broke due to stupidity.
