Hans Seeling Etude Op. 10 No. 12

Boisterous, noisy, strepitoso. Accelerando, stringendo. Several different kinds of dynamics in this piece. An utter showcase of virtuosity. I can only imagine playing this one day on a grander piano. I hope you enjoy this performance!
Bortkiewicz Lamentation Op. 17 No. 7 in E-Flat Minor

This piece was written by Ukrainian composer Sergei Bortkiewicz. His works are reminiscent of Rachmaninoff, Chopin, and Scriabin, yet he still entertains his style. I hope you enjoy this performance of his Lamentation from his set of Consolations and Lamentations.

Though this piece seems more difficult than the last piece I just posted (Rachmaninoff Op. 23 No. 6), it's definitely easier as it's just one technique. That being said, I made a couple of mistakes towards the end but it's all a part of the learning process. I hope you enjoy!

This is my first Rachmaninoff Op. 23 prelude! Rachmaninoff wrote this piece after the birth of his daughter, displaying his love and admiration for her. This prelude is beautiful yet deceptively challenging; a walking bass line that needs to sing just as much as the right hand, large arpeggiated chords, and several dynamics. If not evident by the right hand, this piece displays virtuosic innovation; its flowing arpeggios, the illusion of a third hand, a masterpiece.

This video was recorded back in October 2021, when I had roughly 2 years of playing experience. This was a period when I was still learning from synesthesia videos rather than through sheet music. My technique was flawed, but even then, I think this piece was a turning point in my general understanding of music.

Glad I was able to perform one last time at Brooks School. This piece by Rachmaninoff demonstrates how musical he was, especially at an early age. I look forward to playing his later works and uploading them on this channel.

What's your favorite piece by Franz Liszt? Mine is "Benedición de Dieu dans la solitude," which translates to "Blessing of God in solitude" in French.
your touch maybe too hard.Thsi is not a piece like"duang ....duang.....duang'.More like "ding~~ ding~~~ ding~'
