This is also the final videos that I will be uploading for MH:W as the Wilds Demo is approaching near next month within the first week of Feburary. My uploads will go onto the Wilds Demo only. Safe to say that fighting these fellas in this quest again was fun. I've done this way back early in the beginning of my channel before my "Twenty of Endgame Iceborne Monsters v. You can still run Namielle without Savage Axe even though you've thrown yourself at a disadvantage when you suddenly drain it of its water. Yo is frostcraft charge blade strong? I know it's strong in rise but I've never tried it in the world
@@Loverboychad Yes it is, I’m the only Charge Blade user on World who figured out the formula correctly unlike the previous CBs user out there who tried to. What Frostcraft Charge Blade does is revitalizing the Old concept of World also known as Base Game World’s Charge Blade before Iceborne. [For context: Iceborne DLC introduced Savage Axe to Charge Blade] From a mounted punisher without a Palico buff and Horn buff: I landed a total of 1.7k+ damage onto the head of Monsters. With the buffs is 1.9k+ damage, so forth. Every initial striking hits of SAED as you land them on Monsters will always be 1k+ every time if buffed correctly and having Frostcraft meter on your Charge Blade. Though the Artillery is at maximum of 3, you can always eat Felyne Bombardier to require a bigger boost for it. Rimeguard Gamma’s gear further gives Charge Blade’s components it needs. - Focus 3. [Required for Charge Blade] - Peak Performance 3 [A “Passive” skill I say as it boosts your damage in Artillery and Physical strikes] - Coalescence 3 [More ATK% to boost your Artillery and Physical strikes] - Resuscitate [Better dodges, slower duration of stamina drain when afflicted with a debuff] - Quick Sheathe 3 [Something people complain about CB’s sheathe can finally shut up as they have it at max] - Critical Draw 3 for Axe throw damage boosts. Overall, FC CB in World has you play in a different play style that isn’t Savage Axe. Savage Axing with FC Charge Blade is beyond pointless. The play style for FC CB is SAED | AED with Axe play. Axe play is not Savage Axe because it has NOT been enabled by the functioning of Savage Axe. Axe play hits a lot harder with FC CB than Savage Axe can ever do. [Best damage I’ve done with just Raw Axe is 1k+] Long as you conserve FC meter and play it chill with FC CB, you’ll do a lot more damage than average Savage Axe user.
@ProtagonistJaz have you ever made a build video about that I can find on your channel?
@ Not a video, but only snipped my FC builds into photos I left on my Steam Guide. But if you want a video for a SAED build I did with Fatalis gear too, I did that. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3266899675
@ProtagonistJaz bet sounds good to me I'll definitely be recreating this, it sounds a lot like gu CB
Hello. Moments do come unexpected as many viewers at the moment are new to the channel of mines. Welcome, I should say. I'm not really going to be uploading World Gameplay Content as said [For real this time, I said this few or more times already in the past but now I'm really done. Honest.] For now, I'll be waiting until next month and start with Wilds' Demo Trial to appear so that I can record from there. You can say that I'll try to play different with Wilds' Charge Blade. [If possible which is unlikely.] You all know me as an SAED Enjoyer after all. Do also check the Communities' Tab if you want. I might do some voting polls once in a while to ask questions about what games you are familiar with for me to have an idea posting about. "So what are you going to be posting for content then?" I still got clips of Darktide to upload as compliations. Feel free to stick around as a Subscriber, I will do other videos that are different games and isn't MH only. I only started posting MH content for one purpose only: Prove a point that SAED is still viable and everybody who said it's bad hasn't done it correctly. I'm the only person who did so. "There's also MH:Rise! Will you post anything from there? It's got SAED too." I'll see but Rise isn't really all that interesting for me anyway. It's a fun game, don't get me wrong. Just doesn't hit right, World does in many ways. lol To those long subbed to me as I started with World, I thank ya for your support. It means a lot, really. I make these videos to give you guys to watch if you so desire. I could care less about being famous. Just here to debunk stupid complaints from games I love and overall, having fun. lol Take care of yourselves, gentlemen. I won't be uploading in a while again but will soon post some other content.
In my personal opinion, what makes CB so complicated is how diverse it's playstyles and builds are; Defensive focused, sword focused, saed/aed, savage axe on top of the phial management and which mode to charge and when to There's so much stuff to do (on paper) but the execution is so simple depending on the situation and experience. I'm a user of all weapon but mainly uses HH and Lance, I've seen so many people gave up those weapons it's disheartening People just want it easy while also dishing big damage, "one build for all, one style until the end", surprise surprise nothing's ever the same LS and SnS suffers from hyper perfect syndrome, sns backstep is a perfect utility on top of perfect rush deals so much damage as is and LS being LS; super simple build but still can pull damage out of their rear, not even mentioning the and hyper armor counter while taking minimal to no damage (I'm so salty capcom decided this meanwhile blocking centric weapon still gets downside of chip damage) That concludes my rant, thank you very much😅
Charge Blade only has 2 playstyles, pretty much: SAED | AED with Axe play is my main playstyle and the other is what people have been doing is Savage Axe. What I do "on paper" with Charge Blade is a simple factor and I never had myself stress with Charge Blade at all. I've already become one with the weapon. People who run Savage Axe and CB altogether stress themselves so much that it's almost embarrassing to say the least. At the end, all weapons will do their strong amount of damage if you build it correctly. People tend to have this OCD factor of wanting everything maximized out. That's why people say Savage Axe for CB is optimal is because of how they built it. I've seen so many that I can literally go out to grab a bottle of bleach for my eyes, dawg. They're disgusting. As for LS and SnS, sure you may have the whole utilities and ways to negate damage from being taken to you, do a lot of damage at the end of the day, and use them for comfort. Unlike me, nobody knows here about CB like I do. People complain of Guard Point, so allow me to clue you some good factors that beats LS' parry and SnS' backhop: - When you guard point an attack that is a continuous attack like Teostra's tail sweep, Fatalis' all fours attack of munching in a loop, Kulve Taroth's "Greatest Jagras'" roll attack, and many other examples would it have you not take any damage from them until they're done with the attack and perform anything else. - Guard Point to a stun is a great utility. You're going a Hybrid play of Defense and Offensive with SAED, so building stun is a must if running with Impact Phials. - Guard 5 is the main reason for CB play, I may have run without Guard 5 just to show how much more of a problem it is just to rely on Evade only. You need Guard 5 and Guard up no matter what these mfs say about: "Pointless since some attacks don't need Guard 5" ahh. SAED | AED playstyle has always been overlooked and I proved them wrong in many ways. - As for Savage Axe? Nothing, you just evade. You cripple yourself to the point where if you don't have Guard 5, Focus 3, and many important skills for CB, then you're cooked. Sure, say that people ran TA Wiki with Sav Axe had themselves evading a lot perfectly, but that takes more to move around a lot more than it is hence why people say it's stressful. With simply Guarding and Countering, you really don't care. One mistake from the monster and bam, you punish when you know the grand opportunity. I'm only here to slander about what people have been complaining about on CB the last years before Wilds was announced, you can literally see that most of these complaints are completely stupid and out of thin air. [They didn't give any good reasons for their complaints, they straight up just say it once and people follow blindly. lol] I'm also here for MH:W to debunk all of these claims by providing these videos here. Thank you for your rant, btw. I appreciate any feedback that regards from anyone's problems and I'll be willing to share anything if you want to know more of CB.
@ProtagonistJaz what I mean by more playstyle other than saed/savage axe is what you do in between those while your phial is not in effect, there's so many build variation you can do with CB it's insane and you can't put everything into one build but the way they play out is the same overall (guard 5, 3 or none, power prolonger vs focus, artillery vs element, etc) And I think here is what people most confuse or complicate about CB, What should you do when you don't have phials or the phial management overall Don't get me wrong, I really love the blocking weapons, but somehow lance got the short end of the stick with the post end game monster having way too much knockback power that guard 5 sometimes can't keep up and you still get a considerable push back and chip damage. CB clear this stuff with guard 5 + guard point, takes less push back and less chip damage (cries in lance) because of guard point shenanigans. I've pulled way too many funny strat and saw way too many of these meta slave during my hunts, suffice to say I fully support your slander to these braindead individuals, theory can't beat experience Support your local speedrunner shenanigans XD (Frostcraft HH ftw)
@@emmit317 I understand where you're coming from. Hence why I always stress out the point of having Guard 5 no matter what. People cripple themselves severely without having Guard 5 and at the end, they get punished. To also answer the question of "What should you do when you don't have phials or phial management overall?" Axe play until you flinch the monster. [For Proof, Check out the video I posted of "Hymn of the Moon and Sun" where I literally decked Gold Rathian even with a big disadvantage on me to not have a good start of racking of phials for an Elemental Roundslash [Pink Shield] and get ready for SAED plays.] Also, Lance is a great weapon but underplayed asf. I salute to any Lance users out there trying their best. Thank you for your support, Frostcraft HH user. FC HH ftw.
@@ProtagonistJaz Yeah, the savage axe brainrot really is severe Using a blocking weapon without guard skill? Are you psychotic? I really wish I could pull off some of that juicy SAED or any precise lineups for that matter but due to my graphics setting, my concept of precise distance is heavily skewed (perks of playing with an old potato device 😢) Anyway, Cheers mate, gonna add you to my list of creator to recommend for people that wanted to learn CB (Might learn a thing or two myself lmao, even mr 999 hunter can still learn)
@@emmit317 Thank you, cheers to you too.
I'll see you guys in the next part. Any questions related to Charge Blade that you want to know about, ask me. I'll answer your questions on the way I know.
What this the first charge blade ?
True Fatalis Charge Blade.

Great run! But why do you hop on the Kirin and let go immediately? Is it so that you position yourself for hitting the horn?
@@leandergihr9598 If you’re talking about the beginning Clutch Claw I did, it’s a strategy I call: “TA Styled Clutch Claw” where you don’t wall bang the Monster but agitate them by clawing them three times and tenderizing after. Only fellas do this for TA Wiki runs, I did this because on where Kirin was at and it was pointless to try to lure Kirin near a wall as it would waste time. And whenever you flinch Kirin, you have to clutch claw to immediately to reset its duration of it being flinched. In solo, you’re going to do this fast to position yourself near the head to damage it. That answers your question. I’ll give additional info: If you see the monster flinch in Multiplayer, listen to its whimpers as they usually make another noise while some may not do it. After they make another noise, you claw in to hold them and reset their duration of them being flinched so that you can let your teammates do more damage to it.
That master statement was no exaggeration. Nice
I call myself the "True Master of Charge Blade" for various reasons: - 9999 plays of Charge Blade for the Proof of Valor. - I understand all Monsters from my knowledge with the best approaches to deliver what kind of Charge Blade. [Impact or Elemental, basically] - I invented Frostcraft Charge Blade on World correctly while various others from the past failed to do so. - I don't rely on Savage Axe unlike many Charge Blade users you see out there today in MH:W, I play Charge Blade like Old World / Base game of MH:W. - I'm also the only Charge Blade player who can SAED all monsters properly from Small to Big; I make it possible. Many fellas who are friends on World with me, were wanting to see a change in gameplay for Charge Blade so I took the shot. You won't see "TA Wiki Rules" coming from me, because I indulge in showing strategies for Noobies to have an idea about when facing the certain monsters they struggle to face as a Charge Blade user. Without me on here showing what I do, World would be the same as always for CB players. Savage Axe 24/7 without knowing how to SAED at the end of the day.
Uuuuf brutal broo
Charge Blade players when the monster designed to be difficult is giving them difficulty
All Monsters will be difficult no matter what for all weapons, not just CB. lol I'm out here pointing out the Nonsensical comments within this damn community when they talk about CB. It's like Elementary styled complaints and I've never seen such behavior.
Do you use assassins hood? I was really late into iceborne so i couldn’t get the chance to grab those
In this video, no. Just for Rajang. Check out my Finale Part of "The Twenty of Endgame Iceborne v. True Master of Charge Blade", "Divine Surge v. True Master of Charge Blade", and "The Triple Furious v. True Master of Charge Blade" for those Assassin Hood plays.
@ alright g. Amazing play style my fellow SAED enjoyer xD. Keep up the good work
CB too hard bro imma faint (ノД`) Imma put AT +7 ALL THE WAY (□_□)
The Pin of Honor right here. "Guys, EVERY CB I MEET IS AN ELITISTS! THEY'RE A CULTIST!!! THEY'RE EVEN SUNDOWNER FROM MGR!!!"
A question I'd like to make, being a newcomer to the series (literally just got to the guiding lands) is if there are any changes in a build if savage axe is the main playstyle, I guess evade window and evade extender because, since you are spending more time on axe mode, you are dodging much more with that form, and the dodge in axe mode compared to sword mode is worse since you stop all momentum in the animation, that's the only one that comes to mind, but I might be overlooking something, so I'd like to know if there's anything I'm not considering.
@imgkaizer I am making a newer response to your question since I felt my answer was not much of a help so I will do so again within a newer reply. With you, a newcomer, I hope you're doing well with farming materials, etc. Everything you've explained of Charge Blade's dodging, allow me to give you some inputs: If you ever get damage a lot, low on health, and have your axe out specifically, then you always press shift to switch back to Sword and Shield mode to do a Guard Point stance which if you bring Guard 5 with Guard Up, you save yourself from risking much damage being thrown at you. Not a lot people know about this which is why I gave you this information as more of a fact about Guard Point. For dodging while having the Axe, it's possible to still dodge fine if your Evade Window is around EW 4 and know the timing but running Savage Axe, you oughta know when to switch back to Sword and Shield mode quickly and dodge away a lot to avoid a heavy attack such as an example: Fatalis' One Shot Breath Attack. Guard 5 and Guard Up is a life saver against this attack but if you're running only Evasion on Fatalis with CB, best of luck surviving. As for builds if you have seen already about my Steam guide. If it was solely a different playstyle and leveraged towards Savage Axe, you'd ignore my FC CB builds in general. Frostcraft Charge Blade is required to NOT run Savage Axe and run differently on a playstyle which is SAED // AED with Axe Play. Both Axe Play and Savage Axe Play are different, because one of them is enabled by the "Savage Axe" functionality. Fatalis and Safi'jiiva gear are your required armor to make it plausible. You're running with Savage Axe as your form of DPS, so you'd have to imagine yourself running something like this: - Evade Window at 2 or Level 4. [Imo, Level 3 and 5 Evasion sucks while EW 1 works good too but I do run my builds without EW.] - Evade Extender at Level 1 or 2 is best. [Level 3 feels excessive, only reasonable for a different weapon user like Heavy Bowgun.] - Power Prolonger [You wouldn't need to activate your ERS // Elemental Roundslash for the "Pink Shield" at all as a Savage Axe user, just build phials and turn on Savage Axe immediately.] - Handicraft [Mandatory, I know it and so do you. Savage Axe shreds Sharpness faster than your regular Axe Play.] - Protective Polish [Run this with Item Prolonger for extended buff duration and without worry of your Sharpness being drained for a while.] - Focus 3 [Required. Not arguable whatsoever. People say it's better to run Focusless but they're lying to you. It'll cripple you faster than you'll ever imagine.] The rest follows with Critical Eye 7, Agitator 7, ATK 4, and Peak Performance at Level 3. [Same Curriculum like my SAED Build here, same can be put onto Sav Axe] Agitator and Peak Performance to me are "Passive Skills" and do not affect your damage whatsoever but help it as you'll be having increased damage. Critical Eye 7 is mandatory for Fatalis gear and I suggest putting ATK at 4 for a good reason: At ATK +4, you gain 5% Affinity which gives it a balance to the flat attack you're giving yourself. Going beyond ATK +4 like ATK 5, 6, and 7 will kill your damage because you're breaking the balance of Affinity and ATK by giving yourself more ATK which results to killing your damage. As for Crit Boost and WEX on the Impact Phial CB, WEX 2 and Crit Boost 2. You want the remainders for the two slots of these important skills for dmg? Sure. Get an Evasion Mantle for it. If you're opt'ing to put in small points of Guard onto your Savage Axe build, do NOT bother. It's pointless to as your whole gameplay style of Savage Axe is Axing and Dodging. For Elemental if you wear Safi'jiiva gear and you want to Savage Axe, here's the skills you need: Elemental ATK of whatever Elemental CB you're using, Coalescence 3, Power Prolonger 3, Protective Polish, Focus 3, Crit Boost 3, Evade Window 4, Blight Resistance 2, and Health Boost 3. No need for WEX for Safi gear since you gain a 40% bonus of Affinity when you draw out your weapon. I hope this information helps. I'm not a Savage Axe player since I'm an SAED Enjoyer. However, I'm still willing to help you if you ask me. So I do know these from the back of my head as well.
@@ProtagonistJaz This is VERY helpful, this response helps not only what I said but with some gameplay aspects I was struggling, Thank you! I do play mostly SAED tbh, just wanted to have some input in something I was thinking about regarding savage axe, because it's one of my struggles when using savage axe.
@imgkaizer No worries, I'm glad to answer your question. Thank you for stopping by to ask.
Hey, a bit outofcontext this question but... Why you use rimeguard instead of fatalis when playing SAED/AED? I imagine you did you theorycrafting but can you explain why you think is better? Like, I understand the idea but it's that good over fatalis set?
@@gon6867 Hey, no worries if it’s out of context. I’ll answer your question for you. Unlike Fatalis Gear, with Rimeguard Gamma used for Frostcraft on Charge Blade, you would revitalize the Old play style of Base World on CB before Iceborne was a thing. [For context: Iceborne introduced Savage Axe] Frostcraft CB is made as an upgrade for SAED play style. Highest damage from a mount punisher I managed to put out when built correctly and given with buffs was a total of 1.9k damage. With every SAED shot you do, you can go beyond 1k damage of initial hits of SAED and the rest of the phials can be buffed from Palico’s ATK horn buff, Hunting Horn buff, and Felyne Bombardier. Frostcraft CB is another way to get many skills that CB can benefit: You get Focus 3 which is important for CB, Quick Sheathe 3 to manage with sheathing and it’s comfort for those who complained of CB’s sheathing, Coalescence 3 for more ATK boost for Artillery and Initial hit strike damage, Resuscitate for better evade and slows your stamina from draining fast when afflicted with any debuff, Peak Performance for ATK boost needed for damage and Artillery boost [Since at max your Artillery will be only at Maximum of 3, so Felyne Bombardier would help out too.] and lastly, Critical Draw for Axe Play. Axe play differs from Savage Axe as it is not enabled by the function of Savage Axe mode. Axe play is beneficial to help out your Frostcraft meter and Sharpness to drain less, do a lot more damage with raw axe instead of Savage Axe, and you conserve phials unless you use the horizontal slashes. Now situationally, FC CB will be great against Monsters like Furious Rajang, Fatalis, Alatreon, Sliver Rathalos, Gold Rathian, Raging Brachydios, etc. Only times of comfort I ever need for Fatalis gear for bigger boost of Artillery would be against AT Velkhana, Safi’jiiva, Tempered Ruiner Nergigante, Zinogre, etc. It depends situationally and trust me when I say this, Frostcraft CB has been attempted to be invented by others from the past but failed. I managed to build it correctly and if you want my FC builds, check out my Steam guide I posted in the pinned comment and you have to build it the same way as I do otherwise you don’t get the big damage. Overall, FC CB bests Savage Axe imo if played correctly. Conserve your FC meter and focus solely on SAED | AED play style with Axe play to get good damage. Fatalis Gear is great for good Artillery boost and I have made a set for myself that I also shared on my Steam Guide where my phials hits up above 200+, can also hit 1k initial hits on some certain monsters, and only benefits with SAED play only. I hope this information is to your liking.
Thank you for your response, it means a lot. I'll be checking your steam guide for more information. Have a nice one :)
@@gon6867 You're welcome, have a nice one too.
No Monster SFX for this one. I won’t upload for a while since I have plans for a big and final project coming up as a next upload.
My biggest complaint is that no one said that CB is fun with a HH player by your side - 100% non bias HH Main (Me) Reason for the argument MORE DMG 😂
Fair arguement. People on websites like Reddit (Of all places) literally complain of anything and I'm only covering the ones that be complaining for absolutely no reason about CB. Hunting Horn is a really good weapon for DPS and Support altogether. I met a lot of HHs who ran DPS and still topped good damage. Lance and Bow are other users I also respect because of how little the amount of players I met through SOS. People on World started to run CB because of me if I had to say. lol
@ProtagonistJaz to be fair, the people that are complaining are probably the same ones that bring Raging Brachy weapons to Alatreon and say he is too hard And CB for them is like Horn was for me they just dont understand how to use it properly but where we move apart again is that i picked up the weapon again with the intention to understand and learn it instead of slandering it and here i am Hunting Horn main I pretty much respect any weapon user as long as they know how to use their weapon or try to understand the weapon instead of complaining about it being trash or something like that and aslong as they dont look down on the other weapons for some silly reasons I also used CB a while back and it is a great and fun weapon. Would i take it against fatalis? No. But thats not because its bad or anything along that line its really more because i know i lack the skill for it and so far dont have the motivation to try and learn it/become better at it to actually beat fatalis with it (maybe one day tho) In the end i know how it is considering some ppl say HH is just a support weapon even tho dmg wise it is really good the only time you deal less dmg is while playing the song and even then if you are experienced you still hit the monster with the performance swings Edit: i apologize for the essay 😂
@@BlazingCrucible No worries about your essay, I'm basically the same when it comes to talking about Charge Blade. lol I respect your choice maining Hunting Horn, because right now there aren't that many players who would pick Hunting Horn as their weapon of choice to main. I'm simply a Charge Blade main due to my milestone of 9999 plays of Charge Blade, a Proof of Valor that stays connected to me, and I wouldn't want to be compared with any other Charge Blade RUclipsrs that ran long term before I showed up. It's nice to know that you've given Charge Blade a try because most people would immediately drop it the second they hold it just to grab a easier weapon for themselves instead. - If you're wanting to see more Charge Blade on SAED | AED tactics, I'm your guy. - If you're wanting to see builds of Charge Blade on SAED, I'm your guy as well. - You want to know how to counter monsters with Charge Blade altogether without stressing out too much? I'm your guy right here. I have tried with all weapons and literally I will mention this for Hunting Horn, it's viable with the DPS format. Doing damage along with providing buffs is beneficial compared to someone who would sit in the corner just to pocket heal. [Something I wouldn't want to talk about since I've seen a video about it somewhere recently on that topic. lol] Any person who would disagree with our point of views just refuse to listen at the end of the day. That's about it.
@ProtagonistJaz ill keep that in mind. Maybe when i want to challenge myself to do Fatalis with CB, then I'll definitely ask for advice or if i have problems with other monsters considering it's always nice to improve and expend your skill set Edit: on a diffrent note i dont know if you have something like that on your channel already but id personally really like to see a playthrough of yours with CB (without defender armor and weapons cause those are actually op which is intended for their purpose afterall) i do understand if thats something you dont wanna do btw just thought might aswell bring it up since ive been watching a few videos of yours on the side while we were talking and id be interested in seeing that

Same like the last video, no Monster SFX sounds. Just simple run audio with BGM in the back. Anyways: If nobody has told you exactly on what Namielle is, then I will. - Namielle to me is a "Backwards" Monster. He ain't like the other monsters where you require Agitation in order to do damage. For Proof: [Since I've done Namielle in several runs specifically its Arch-Tempered form to study it throughout my plays from 5k - 9999 plays of Charge Blade] My Elemental Phials at best can hit up to 364 damage when it interacts with Namielle's head but when it's angry, I can still hit over 300+ but it gets a reduction down to 324 at best or lower. Best to keep Namielle unagitated and the moment you feel like you need to wallbang it is up to your choice. - Namielle has stronger WEX protection than Rajang // Furious Rajang. For Proof: [Since I've done Namielle in several runs specifically its Arch-Tempered form to study it throughout my plays from 5k - 9999 plays of Charge Blade & Check out the Finale part of "The Twenty of Endgame Iceborne v. True Master of Charge Blade"] I brought the Frostcraft variants of my Kjarr "Fire" and True Fatalis Charge Blades. At best with the WEX damage even if you tenderized it and it's still awake, agitated as well: 500+ damage about from an Initial hit of SAED. (Highest I managed to do was 700) It's worth bringing Kjarr "Fire" Charge Blade ONLY with Safi'jiiva gear, because you're only going about to throw Elemental Phials at Namielle. Physical damage against it doesn't really matter that much against it since it's super resistant. - So SAED or Savage Axe against Namielle? For Proof: [Check out the Finale part of "The Twenty of Endgame Iceborne v. True Master of Charge Blade"] Hybrid at best if you want to, but still is possible to run SAED throughout since it's your only hope of damage to defeat Namielle. SAED Namielle when its colorful. Savage Axe Namielle when it doesn't have any color, basically dried without any water absorption. Little information on Kirin v. Charge Blade too: - "Is it possible to do the same plays as yours from the video of you doing Frostcraft while I don't have Frostcraft?" Yes, it's possible. Though you won't have the comfort of Quick Sheathe due to different gear usage or not having it slotted in, you'll have to play more carefully with Kirin. - "So what's the play against Kirin?" Just Axe play it with AED, that's about it. Only time you'll get an SAED done in right is when you reduce your phials down to 3 or less, give yourself good spacing, and throw the hoe in. He's not like Rajang where he can take in 6 phials, Kirin can take half of the SAED. So, will SAED be worth it? Yes and No. Remember also: Axe play is NOT Savage Axe play, they are different for various reasons: One can sustain phials and only will it consume if you press right click to do horizontal slashes with the Axe. [Very useful for Frostcraft and keeps your Sharpness in a lesser loss] The other drains phials overtime, will consume if you press right click to do horizontal slashes with the Axe. [Not useful for Frostcraft, drains Sharpness, only would optimal if you do Fatalis gear.] I'm not a Savage Axe player, but I know the facts of what Savage Axe is, needs, and how it can be performed in case people need to know. - "Can I use Kjarr "Fire" Charge Blade against him?" Of course, it's his weakness. I wouldn't suggest bringing Safi'jiiva gear against it for full output because people will complain about the speed disadvantage you have. So? Frostcraft it and bring it against it. That's what I did. For Proof: [Check out within my channel the first run I did on "Divine Surge" and you'll see.]
No SFX of Monster Roars in this video, btw. Kinda bringing back of the classic gameplay audio and music transitions, that's all. Feel free to ask any questions if you have them in mind.
6m58 wooow man always better. Congrat and beautiful run. I'm sad that i play world too late to have assassin mantle :,(
I’m technically the first CB user to get 6 mins on that quest specifically. Haven’t seen runs on it much other than a few I saw that did it within TA Wiki fashion which at best were 7 minutes+. The first run you saw with 4 mins, I’m the second CB user to get a time like that since there’s another guy who did this but with Savage Axe. End of the day, I prove a point simply by this statement: “If Savage Axe can land such good times, so can SAED.” It doesn’t have to be TA Wiki fashion at all, that’s just an option. I rather have fun in my runs, ya know? If you don’t have the Assassin Hood, then that’s tough. Though, there’s always modding that mantle in if you want it badly.
Let the heresy commence
With the side of “Nonsensical Bullsh!ts.”
Rajang // Furious Rajang will always be one of my favorite monsters on World. Just be aware that I'm working on my Slander [Part 2] video and I've uploaded this video here to feed you some content so that you don't become hungry. lol
i love the finish, big style
vs Kirin specifically if you didnt have frostcraft, would you still sheathe and axe draw attack a lot?
Against Kirin... That's pretty much the play, yeah. If I didn't bother using Frostcraft against him during this, then yeah. I'd still do the same but without Kjarr "Fire" Charge Blade. I would go for True Fatalis Charge Blade and keep ramping the stun meters to go up to control the guy from doing anything. Fun fact for you on Kirin: Every Head Break considers as a flinch and the second coming in would topple him.
Oh yeah some more !
I will give you guys also a fair share of information about the monsters I reran. Shrieking Legiana: - Has 19k health at best total. - Just like Velkhana, it has something called: "Sky Fall" and this hit point [HP] bar would only go down and deplete once you damage Shrieking Legiana enough while its within the air. I did something here to cripple it by mounting it which sets its hp bar of the "Sky Fall" near down. So when it does fly again, it'll be easier to control it. - Would suggest Raw Damage instead of bringing its weakness of Fire, it doesn't do a high substantial of damage towards it, imo. Uragaan: - Has 27k health at best total. - I would suggest maintaining control with damage by using its weakness of Water and use traps for free hit points. - Since it's also the Arena, you wouldn't have Crystalbursts to easily cheese the guy to falling over from his Hotwheeling attack he does nearly 24/7. If facing him in a different environment though, Elder's Recess since he's only around there, then yes. Cheesing is possible. lol Lavasioth: - Like Uragaan except 1k less, totaling 26k health. - You have to manage it to stay glowing red 24/7, otherwise your Elemental Phial damage of Water wouldn't be too hard hitting. [At best, the big number he can take from Water Phials is 400+ due to the usage of Safi gear and Coalescence together, it makes the damage higher.] - Slinger Bombs will trigger his body to glow red from what I've discovered. Feel free to use traps for free hit points as well. If you're fighting him within the area where he normally originates, Trapping him with Pit fall will have him come up with glowing red limbs and tail, making it easier to damage him. That's about it for the information and I'll be uploading my Part 2 Slander soon. Stay tuned for that.
*claps* Happy there is a good SAED player that posts for me to watch lol. Question about keybinds: How do you sprint to the left when you have Q as your Dash keybind and do you mostly use C or middle mouse button to aim slinger?
I'm the only good CB user out in World specifically, I don't run TA-Wiki because it's pointless and majority of CB builds I've seen throughout the years have been something that I can't accept. It doesn't help players that are new or average at CB to learn how to beat the monsters and it feels misleading. This is why I made these videos, share my CB guide to others, and show strategies and counters with SAED only for people to learn because nobody has ever properly done it but myself. [Proof comes within my Steam Guide, Endgame Monsters being bested from Charge Blade using only SAED | AED tactics, no Savage Axe] If Savage Axe can land such good times, so can SAED. To answer your questions of keybinds, Q is my bind for sprinting and the WASD keyboard movements is something you're already aware of. I sprint to the left while holding Q and holding A to move to the left. I mostly use C to aim the slinger since it's a pure habit. Middle mouse is also good, but I use C key a lot.
@@ProtagonistJaz Thanks for the quick reply. Very cool of you, your monster specific stuff was a big help for me when I started trying fatalis three days ago and after watching your videos/gifs killed it yesterday in two tries 🤛 My question about Q sprinting to the left was more how you do it with your fingers I guess, since I typically use Q and A with my ring-finger and both keys needed when sprinting to the left. So do you use another finger when doing it like middle finger on Q or something?
@@user-hb5by2gg1t Congratulations on the Fatalis kill, glad to be of service to provide you references on how it's done for specific moves from Fatalis to provide a counter for. As for your question on the Q sprint, my left hand stays positioned as usual for the WASD. On how I do it, My ring finger does hold the Q key and normally on how I move myself to the left with the A key is using my middle finger. If it was the opposites as in the middle finger on the Q and ring finger on A, it'll have my hand feeling uncomfortable.

SAED spam is the goated playstyle, I don't care what anyone says. Savage axe is new gen nonsense. Common Jazzy W
Yes i love saed spam, big numbers and satisfying explosions, i even use a mod in GU so i can bring back saed spam style by installing lazy 4u cb mod, its goddamn good by spamming saed, with rebalanced patch, it accidentally make it too OP lmao,
Savage axe isn't new Gen nonsense it's just the GU playstyle. Less focus on saed spam and more focus on the axe combo spam. I prefer saed but let's be honest it's just one of the two cb identities, all preference. It's basically 4 identity vs gu identity, whatever u prefer.
CB is an absolute destroyer of worlds. Really appreciate the content and taking the time to help others. Thank you.
You’re welcome.
The only thing I don't get in this video and in the steam guide is why skills like attack boost >4, wex 3, and crit boost 3 kills damage. It isn't really explained, just stated. I'm guessing it's the opportunity costs for other skills like offensive guard, that only needs a few skill points? At that point, the skills that would kill your damage don't really kill your damage, but instead provide diminishing returns when you could otherwise increase your damage more with different skills.
Here’s the thing. I will state it here for passerbys who will read comments like ours. You can only slot in to ATK +4 for Charge Blade. You go above ATK +4 (Literally it’s just ATK 5, 6, or 7) which can literally kill Charge Blade’s damage hence why everyone runs Savage Axe and say it’s optimal. Crit Eye 5 [FC] or Crit Eye 7 [Fatty gear] is optimal as it is a jewel slotted in and it determines whether your CB does damage which it does but again has a lackluster. That's where you slot ATK 4 in and NOT ATK 7, because at ATK +4 is that additional 5% bonus of Affinity and going beyond is pointless as it only raises ATK. [You need to balance the ATK and Affinity. That's the structure. The "passive" skills like Agitator and Peak Performance are really good skills since it doesn't affect anything at all for CB but make it greater with damage when monster is enraged.] As for WEX 3 and Crit Boost 3, it’s literally too much of Affinity. Why you ask? When you hit monsters, you gain at best 50% Affinity when Monster is tenderized. It is a LOT of Affinity if it is not supported with the balance of ATK and remember what I said, you need to balance both ATK and Affinity. That’s why WEX 2 and Crit Boost 2 is the only requirement needed if you’re running Impact Phial Charge Blades whereas for Elemental Charge Blades need Crit Boost 3 and only WEX 1. If you want to slot the remainders to it? Got you. The key solution is Evasion Mantle, something you should have on for Charge Blade indefinitely. Slotting it either the last WEX and Crit Boost or double WEX as the ATK boost from one evasion can balance the damage output of Charge Blade to be substantially high. If you’re running Fatalis gear, Offensive Guard 3 is important for SAED play along with Guard 5 and Focus 3. That I do not mind being maxed. However, If you do my Frostcraft gear, only level 2 is sustainable. Offensive 3 on my Frostcraft build is too much ATK and would kill the damage of CB. [Remember, balance.] Even then, Frostcraft CB gives you the comfort of many things: - Focus 3, Coalescence 3 [When debuffed and removal of debuff grants ATK Boost% for further up your Artillery since at max is level 3], Resuscitate for better dodge and slowing down of your stamina so that it doesn't drain fast, Quick Sheathe since everyone complains of putting away the weapon is slow, Critical Draw for strong Axe play that isn't Savage Axe because remember [Old World styled CB doesn't have Sav Axe back in the day until Iceborne's release which is why FC CB revitalizes Old World's playstyle which I still adore better than Sav Axe play], and finally Peak Performance to which it's crucial since the playstyle of FC CB will be different from a Fatalis Geared Charge Blade user. Overall, the Evasion Mantle is CB's key for bigger damage especially for Impact Phial Charge Blades. [True Fatalis Charge Blade being the number 1 Raw DMG for sure] I have used too much brain power unlike majority of CB players who went for the easy route of Savage Axe and still having to slot everything in at maximal, still thinking at the end of the day that their build is okay when it’s not.
