Have you gone through the full install setup it is a bit complicated but without all the steps being followed you will not get it to work ? the main thing is this program works through a midi interface and you have to set the data channel through that . I don' t work on a mac so cannot help even showing you a video sorry.

Got it working now…re-did everything ….also deleted all the keyboard shortcut profiles I had in resolve and re installed sfx one. Now it’s all working but would really like to be able to really dial in custom sensitivity for those dials (instead of jumping in 10s to 1 or 2 ata time. I feel like I will probably delete a pile of buttons and profiles with the pack as I find it very redundant in many ways. I set mine up to go to media pool and created a bunch of buttons for that on the custom page…which may become my default / home resolve menu. Side note a large trackball is the way to go for a lot of the wheels adjustments…I have that blue one in your video but still have an old Kensington 4 button one (ball is apx 3x bigger).

Yes I have Also found that as windows boots up you can press the keys on the speed editor before it loads the desktop and you might find it has already connected without doing this workaround why not try it . Thanks for the feedback.

Do you have any other Bluetooth devices ? are they connecting ? i say this as to check your drivers for Bluetooth sometimes corrupt and need to be reinstalled but if you have devices that do connect then that wont be a problem , also blackmagic recently did a firmware update for the speed editor have you done that update its done with the wire in ?

@@Mr.Ade. Thanks for bringing their update to my attention. Im still unable to see red lights. Once... Just Once.... I've been using this speed editor for years with no problem. As of this month, I've got it to show life once after I spent a half an hour resetting it over and over again and un plugging it while holding the esc key standing on one foot and patting my head. Their support wasn't any help. Ima try to call during japans operating hours as I hope their legendary customer services lives on.

@@aaronjohnson4604 Hi as a cheap try to see if it's the speed editor i purchased a cheap usb bluetooth device and loaded the drivers for it cost about £10 pounds this would be my go to second idea to rule out a problem with the speed editor. Might be worth the investment.

I know what you mean however if this helps keep you from throwing the speed editor in the bin in frustration then this workaround is a good thing. I also think it happens to a lot of Bluetooth devices as i have a kingston bluetooth track ball and the same thing happens to that. as an upgrade to the information as your computer is booting up try tapping the speed editor to wake it up as you get to windows desktop i have found that that action can make the connection without having to do the bluetooth dance good luck and happy editing.

I only have the 8 buttons on my stream deck + but i do find the rotary knobs one you get use to them ok but still a bit glitchy.

Hi Charles have you installed the midi plugin for the streamdeck ? you will need this for the control of the device go to the elgato streamdeck store and install it it is a free download you find it in the music section of the plugins .

Thank you Elkin for watching if you look around and you don't have have a studio licence some times you can get a deal on the two being bundled together either way i think the speed editor is a great choice.

I have that in the pipeline for video to do stay tuned for when i do it .

I agree i even looked at the promo for this pack and you do see the demonstrator using a trackball as he puts it to complement the experience i think the main problem is the layout for the buttons is not logical at all and i do find myself getting lost in all the screen changes you need to do but for the most part it is just frustrating the hell out of me.

I know i was stumped for a while in getting the script to run and aligne properly without the extra bits you need to do adding the color management bits can trip you up glad you found it uesfull.
