Lambs Valley NYE 2024
I spent New Year's Eve 2024 at my sister's home at Lambs Valley NSW. She has a beautiful hobby farm where she as rescued many of her animals, all of which are guarded by Kibou, her amazing Maremma Sheep Dog. There are many more animals on my sister's farm, but I didn't photograph all of them this time. Many of them hide when they see me coming with the camera! :-D

Hampton Court Palace - May 2023. The home of King Henry VIII. I absolutely love this beautiful palace. There is so much history and beauty. Absolutely, yes, the place is haunted. I lost my brother and cousin somewhere in one of the halls. It was fabulous to wander around for hours on my own, exploring and taking photographs. I only used my Samsung mobile phone to take pics. Most of these shots in this slideshow were taken with my Samsung mobile phone. My other slideshow is all of my Canon photographs. You can't really take a bad shot in the NT. I visited Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon in September 2024. What an amazing place! Not just visually stunning, but the energy out there is so powerful, yet so peaceful. I went for the first time to London in October & made it to HCP. I, too, had always wanted to go & have had a fascination with England since I was a child. I am just shy of 70. I want to go back next year & do some of the villages & countryside. 10 days wasn’t enough!

Preparing for the extreme weather conditions and getting extremely hot and the summer thunderstorms build in the summer afternoon hours and e careful and be safe during storms.Lightning strikes are common iin the area of Uluru in the southern part of the Northern Territory, Australia. Lightning storms are common in Uluru especially in the late spring and summer months. Lightning is beautiful to watch in the sky when it rains and freshens the air and also smelling the dust of the air especially when it rains hard. Listening for the severe weather updates of the severe thunderstorm warnings.
Some good photos in this. Never ceases to amaze how the colour of the rock changes with the different light. both times that I have been it has been sunny but I have seen photos when it has been raining and the rock is grey or almost black. One of my favourite places that i have been to-so quiet!
