I like the A340. I remember when I went to America on Virgin Atlantic, we went on a 747, but they had A340s as well.

I was there in 1970 when I was 12 years old. I bought an aerosol can if London Fog for a souvenir. 😊

I have yet to see a USAF fighter do the unrestricted climb as quick as a Typhoon from brakes release ,they need a lot more forward speed to get the plane to lift to vertical where as the Typhoon has canards to aid the lift much earlier and a high thrust to weight ratio., the F22 comes close but not quite. I only ever went to air shows shows if the EE ligjtning was attending just to watch its party piece exit, high speed run in on centre line then a full reheat vertical assent into cloud.

Simon, I can’t believe that you didn’t point out a very famous pub on The Green. It was even in the video. I was in the pub 8 weeks ago. It was featured in a very popular TV show and people arrive every day from all over the world to have their photos taken in the bar. The series was Ted Lasso. The Prince’s Head
