I’m English and I live in the US. I use the c word casually as a pejorative and familiar. Pretty much how Butcher uses it…turns out Americans don’t like it a lot. It’s used almost exclusively here against women (and I mean AGAINST). I’ll say something casually like “Mate, what’s that cnt doing?” or “Whose that cnt ?”. I’m not saying it disparagingly. It’s pretty much standard language. But here? No no no. They do not like that. At all. I imagine that’s why it has such power in The Boys.
