This is a tour of a standard suite room in the Palazzo tower. The service at Palazzo was phenomenal, and when I was going to pay for a room upgrade, the woman checking me in, gave me the upgrade for free. I loved this room! It was a very comfortable room to stay in.

This was my second solo trip to Vegas, but this one didn't go quite as planned. I was doing one night at Rio, two at Palazzo, and then two at Vdara, but unfortunately, I made the difficult decision to leave after just two nights due to some health issues. We lucked out and had a 3-day weekend from work, so of course, we headed to our happy place, Yachats! We do two nights at the Drift Inn, and then one at the Yachats Inn. Lots of food and drink was had, and I got to experience fireworks for the first time in forever!

I wake up incredibly hungover after my night at the Dead & Company show at the Sphere. We have a decent breakfast at Primrose, and then I venture out to say my goodbyes to the Mirage. I felt that I needed to post this today after hearing the announcement of the official closing date of The Mirage. The Mirage became, and will always be, my first Vegas true love. It is such an amazing property, and I'm so sad to see it go away.

This was an amazing trip for us! There's not a ton of dialog in this video as we were just feeling out the whole vlog thing, and because we were just focused on enjoying ourselves. But this vlog is full of good food and fun, and we learned a lot!

Don’t sweat not filming everything! I film very little of any group activity I’m involved in. I’m having too much fun to care! Amanda and I will be walking to the arts district from Fountainebleau in a few weeks. Can’t wait to check out some of the bars there!
Bummer about LPM!!! We loved the escargot when we went, maybe you got a bad batch? But some of the other dinner items weren’t as good. It’s actually in one of our next videos 😂 seems like we all go to the same places, haha!! the tomatini is delicious tho! Great video, love all the special editing touches you’ve added! 🥂

This was such a great vlog!! The music was such a bop and we were both like shoulder dancing to it as we watched lol. Loved all the B-Roll so much! Meeting up was so fucking special, and it was so nice how we were all just super present during our time together. Drinks on the balcony will always be such a core memory for us both.
Bummer on LPM for dinner! We loved the brunch there. We need to get back to the Art District next trip. Awesome y’all got to meet up again with the friends!

Any advice on birthday free play in Vegas?
Unfortunately, I don't 😔. I predominantly gambled at MGM, and all I seemed to get was my standard offered freeplay. Every time I put my card in, it did a birthday countdown, but then nothing. I am certainly no expert, and am still learning about all of it though.
The smiles on your faces as you came into land made my heart melt!! You guys I love your style. Plane cocktails are a must!! I tend not to buy spirits in Vegas I just end up wasting them but I wish I didn’t haha :( That drive to Cosmo up strip got me excited!!! Also your Cosmo view was stunning!! A lot of people prefer that side and I think if I was lucky enough to stay at Cosmo I’d be so happy with that view and balcony! Maybe then I’d enjoy the room vodka 🥹 This vlog also looks awesome! Amazing editing, music, transitions etc. I’m a big fan!! Amazing to meet you and Tyler. Can’t wait for the next vlog. 🥰

Thanks guys!!! I think that it was Tyler's extra love he wiped on the $50 that worked 😂. I was soooo pleased with our upgrade, and the room 😍 LPM was good, but not mind-blowing. I think brunch is the way to go 👍

Libras ARE the best! I wish we could have had our paths cross again on this trip, but maybe on another trip 😉. LPM was good! Some things were better than others, but overall, it was pretty good. Our review will be in the next vlog 😀. I can't wait for your vlogs 🎉🎉🎉

First of all I love your style! Secondly, this room is gorgeous. I am dying to stay here, I love how the room splits because of the steps, and I think it would be cute to go down to Venice and have all of that on my doorstep! It’s the one part of the strip I don’t explore enough! Thanks for sharing!

@kleptodathief3946 I don't remember how much the room service food was, but it wasn't cheap 😂. I'm sorry you're in one of their crappy rooms! I know that they let those rooms get pretty run down before it was sold. I think it's going to be really nice once all of the renovations are completed.

@SlotTrippers I'm glad to know that I'm not alone with the vlogger tech stuff 😂! I used to travel alone before I was married, and loved it. Nowadays, it's definitely more fun with my husband, but if I can get a trip in to Vegas, solo or not, I'm going to take it 😜!
Had Attaboy at Rio during STLV and for the wait and cost was very disappointed. It's just not good imo. Glad you got home safely and were able to heal up.

@@WhereBeansBeen I do love Good Pie but the prices! I’ll never get used to pizza being so expensive. There’s a great spot in Henderson but all the way out there. On the strip, Pizza Cake (Harrahs) and Sirrico’s (NYNY) are the best imo.
I’m so sad you had to leave early but buzzing for next month!! We will make up for it haha!! Honestly, Rio is growing on me. I am so excited to go there again now lol! We have never stayed at Venetian/Palazzo so seeing this room was amazing. Also, that whole check in experience sounds so amazing. I love that you were going to pay for the upgrade and the sweet agent comped it! The universe must have known you needed a little win. We were so sorry you had to leave but we will make up for it here in just a couple weeks!

Your room at the Rio looks nice! I yelled awesome fit check mirror when you showed the large mirror😂 pop pop got us a new set of mics that we just opened while on a trip and we had to learn as we went with them and ended up with no sound a few videos of that trip🤪door alarm is a great idea when traveling alone 👍 palazzo room was super fancy!!!!! We Have never been able to get comps at palazzo or Venetian but your making me want to go on a mission of chasing the comps there! The dirt road 4x situation reminds me of our honeymoon road trip from Vegas to Arizona, the GPS led us completely off track and my little Kia Rio had a crash course on desert 4x4ing😅. Also, that taco place looked amazing!! Don’t think I won’t map out how far that drive is for us😂. Loved the adventure home, minus the rain 😆

I need to do this drive one day! Did it really take 6 1/2 to get to Reno!? Reno actually looks like a lot of fun but as you said, compared to Vegas it can’t compare 🤪
@TipsyTofuTravels it was really great!!! And yes, surprisingly, it really only took about 6.5 hours 👍 I would suggest maybe starting off in Reno and then heading Vegas way 😉🤣😉

@The_Getaway_Channel Primrose is definitely beautiful! I didn't really show it, but I was actually seated on a full on sofa 😃. Frank is kind of like a bad ex that you keep going back to. Sometimes it works out, but most of the time you're reminded why you broke up with him in the first place 😂😂😂

Primrose looks wonderful - I will be going there when we stay at Park MGM next trip! I bet a Bloody Mary and avocado toast is the perfect hair of the dog! 😂 Lots of health there to bring you back to life! Also bottomless mimosas - can you remember how much they were? I’m trying to find a place that does it for my birthday that isn’t too expensive! I have done Tom’s Watch Bar before now and it was fun!
You are so correct about the perfect hair of the dog! The bottomless mimosas were only $40 with a 90 minute time limit. I think that they had 3 or 4 different options for juices. Our server had absolutely no problem with bringing Tyler an entire other bottle of prosecco and even a to go cup, even though Tyler most definitely didn't need it 😂. The food was good, not exceptional, but I really liked the buttermilk caesar salad, and my avo toast was super fresh and definitely hit the spot. They also have outdoor seating 👍

Sadly, in the end, I didn't end up getting anything 😭. I could have bought something in my size, but I would never wear it for $80, or a glass that probably would never have made it home, for $35 😔
