This is a good example of how dangerous it is to run a yellow light at an intersection, especially if a vehicle is waiting to turn left from the opposite direction. By law, you MUST stop at a yellow light after a green light at an intersection, UNLESS it cannot be safely done.     That's crazy! Did you send this to the police? I don't understand why people race at these speeds with others on the road, especially without lights. If you were to merge into the left lane, both you and the other driver probably wouldn't have made it. Glad you're safe!

      I didn't, as there was no way to ID that vehicle, let alone the driver. The speeding vehicle had lights, but my concern was that any vehicle without automatic lights (which the driver did not turn on manually) would likely had been a toast, as at 250 km/h this driver might not have noticed them ahead on such a dark highway. And, of course, there are, occasionally, other hazards on the highway, such as lost cargo or a pothole.
