hi! i can’t say u can join in ISSE or GLA based on your GPA, but i’d say both departments assess whether u could study in the department when u applied to the college. Of course, gpa is a part of elements to know about you, and the college assess you including the past gpa, high school life, english level, the motivation for the college and so on. so gpa is important. BUT, I don’t think you need to worry about it really much, and u have to think that it’s a part of the assessment.

@@emipotata5387 hi! hmmm, currently i’m not living in the dorm, so i’m not sure the good aspect of the dorm. Id say, if u live in the dorm, u could reduce time to travel to the campus, and make more friends easily. You can enjoy cooking and chatting with your friends whenever you want to. The dorm might be difficult for students who need own personal spaces. If you live in an apartment, you could have more personal time.

Hi! thanks for the message:p I’d say introduction is much easier than special lecture. In the introduction couse, students learn tend to study a broad range of things, but never go very deep. On the other hands, in the special lecture, students learn more deeply, and focus on more specific topic. For your reference:)) If you have more extra questions about what you asked me, you should talk to the academic advisor.

@@ruizhentan65 sorry for late response:(( there is a dorm for GLA students! Most international students live in the dorm. It costs 70000 yen per month. I’d say it is as same as living in an apartment.

Hi!! Yes, you need to submit either ielts 6.0, or toefl iBT68 when you apply to GLA. However, you don’t need to submit if you have IB diploma. If you are planning to get double degrees, higher english level is needed. You need to get overall IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL 80.

yes! it is okay to submit the score after the admission. you need to submit over IELTS 6.5 by the English hurdle assessment.

hi!! thank you! i’d say it’s 8/10 because GLA is the best place for students who want to study a wide range of subjects. HOWEVER, it is not good for students who wish to study 1 subject. You can study programming in GLA, but you couldn’t study deeply because of the curriculum. If you wish to learn other subjects such as economy, it would be best choice for you.

@@ainan11_24 メッセージありがとうございます！残念ながら、アカデミックハードルとイングリッシュハードルの両方をクリアしないと、オーストラリア国立大学の授業をうけることはできません。また、その場合はsingle degreeになり立命館大学の学位しか取れません。 アカデミックハードルを越えられなかったという人は、あまり聞きませんがenglish hurdleの方は超えられない人が毎年いるそうです。 大学側はそれらのハードルをクリアするまで、無料でtoefl or ieltsをうけさせてくれます。 またなにかあれば、いつでもきいてください😊 インスタのdmからでもまってます！

Thank you for watching my video! Yes, i’m studying under the English program. My major is liberal arts, so I am learning a wide range of subjects such as programming, designing, psychology, International Relation, Education, Journalism etc. I think it is rare that GLA offers all classes in English and a variety of subjects in Japan. Not only that, GLA provides dual degree program. GLA students can learn at both Ritsumeikan University and Australian National University and get 2 degrees at the end of the year.
