Let me guess, your church attendance is circling the drain and you can't figure out why.. Store the anger, your personal agenda and sarcasm and stick to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Pompous.and condescending.

Poor Jesus. Poor Jesus. When is God going to intervene and end the abuse we have to endure in the misinterpretation of scripture and restore His Church?

And on this day, let us pray for firefighters, welders, glass artists, and those experiencing persecution because of their faith.

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. This passage from the Gospel of Luke is read every three years on The First Sunday of Christmas. It is also read on February 2, which is The Festival of The Presentation of Our Lord. The First Sunday of Christmas falls between December 26-January 1. Many refer to this as Low Sunday, along with The Second Sunday of Easter. In our minds, Christmas is over. Families have returned home and families and businesses are taking down their decorations. And the businesses are now putting up Valentine's Day merchandise, along with some New Year's merchandise (hats & horns). A never ending cycle, IMO.

Ms. Johnson, thanks for your well-prepared presentation. May I ask a question? Why, if the manager was acting dishonestly, would he think a future employer would want to hire a dishonest manager? In your business, would you want to employ a person who was defrauding his employer? (I have an idea about this, but I'd like to know yours.)

As we teach each other morals along this journey, Keep in mind your outreach will help for eternity. So goes my 1st Spiritual rap, I hope you feel the love of Christ…and that is that!

I feel blessed in my heart every day. Being a part of St Paul’s is friendly in every way. Family-services gets the young ones involved, While tradition is kept as the church evolves. Teaching and passing values happens along the path, Giving from the heart will help avoid the wrath.
