The bike was fully restored by previous owner/s. I bought the bike summer 2019.
As the movie shows I have done some basic maintenance & given it a fresh coat of paint.
BSA Factory records show the bike was dispatched to the war office 12/03/41 this can be taken as the date of manufacture. The bike was built under contract C7287-24 and given tank number C4350902.
It was part of a batch that was sent to Army supply barracks Chilwell Nott's UK. Last recorded date 28/08/1941 destination unknown ,as no records exist of where the bike was sent or what regiment it was attached to.
It was found in Cyprus and returned to the UK in the mid to late 70s as a restoration project. But never finished and...
