🔥🔥I'm feeling the flow of this one. nice work on the camera shot transitions. After a third of the way you stopped captioning what films you were using and some of the shots go by too quickly to see.
nice
Thank you!
cool photos
Thank you.
Cool video Vincent! What ISO did you shoot the lomo purple at?
Yikes, that's a good question. I do remember the answer though! 400 ISO, it was so overcast that I had no choice. Ironically, that's about where I like it.
@@vincentchristopherkofi Nice! I shot it at 400 only once on 120 but always wanted to try 200 since it gives it a more vibrant purple
Niceee
Thank you, I really appreciate it. Which was your favorite?
Absolutely stunning work 😮!
I Really enjoyed this! Peaceful AND impactful
I appreciate you JPEG! How’s work in the Ville?
Lovely! I find the under sides of bridges to be a place of overlooked and unexpected beauty.
Indeed. The have these natural proportions that are easy to photograph.
The photo at 2:26 sheeeeesh! This video makes me want to shoot more b&w film. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
Thanks Eric. I tried to shoot this the way an architectural photographer would shoot a Catherdral. This is clearly the master shot. I think this is easily the one with the most feedback. Thanks for watching the video as well. I really appreciate you!
I love all of these shots. Specially the ones where the water looks like a solid surface!
If you can take a REALLY long enough exposure, it'll look like a liquid concrete.....kind of excited to try that out actually! Kind of hard to do on film though.
My favorite is the negative space framing the light at 2:16. Perfection 👏🏽
That one is my favourite too!
Beautiful work, I love the mixture of calming video footage and photographs- very meditative over all!
Thank you very much! Just between you and I, I cut this together over a couple of days, the sky was the same so I had to make it look like it was the same day. Did I pass?
Love the use of shapes and shadow under the bridge, really well done 😁 the music is a beautiful addition, who's the composer?
Thank you so much 😀. The name of the composer is Franz Gordon. The song is called Nepente.
Under the bridge tough
Adele wrote a song about water under the bridge! XD, in all seriousness, it is a main road highway which is kinda freaky.
Heat my guy… Loved it bro! 🔥🔥
Thanks Ayem, I appreciate you. Hit me up when the next video footage is ready so we can get to work!
Love, love, love this video. Please don't tell people how you derive your photos, unless its someone you're teaching. Let them explore just like you had to.
Thank you! It's a tough challenge getting the film to behave this way. And I feel where you are coming from!
Always love seeing your work, water is my favorite element to capture. I loved the framing of the be kind tag, you are truly talented my friend 👏🏿🤌🏿❤️🔥🙏🏿
Thank you so much!
These photos are amazingly brilliant, I know they aren't easily acquired. The exposure control is showing my friend 👏🏿🤌🏿❤️🔥
Many thanks. I really appreciate it. These are definitely long exposure shots taken on a tripod!
Been thinking of trying out this film. Knowing you exposed for the highlights really helps. Love the pics.
Yo could I get some of these photos enlarged ? Would like amazing in the new gathering room.
I spoke to soon. Lol
Loving the pops off colors and low shutter speeds. Gives me that nostalgic route 66 80s neon sign, kids good time yo yo vibe.
Love it!!
Very nice photos, you have a really good eye for this
I love all the colorful lights
I need to go there! I’ve only been to South Beach.
Hey Vincent! I love your work man, these photos look amazing!
Thanks Nuño. I do a crazy amount of editing to get these all the way right. (Shhhh🤫) Don’t tell anyone, but I appreciate the love. Check out the website and let me know what you think. Vincentchristopher.com I’ll certainly have a look at your videos sometime today!
@@vincentchristopherkofi I'll definitely have a look! (btw, who doesn't? 😬)
These photos are stunning!!!!!!
Floored by these photos. They're stunningly timeless. It's also incredibly hard to be as honest are you are in this video, but no matter whichever part of yourself you choose to present, there will be an audience that resonates with it. I think with your visual eye and your architectural background, you'll definitely carve out a space for yourself and go far. You got this! Looking forward to future videos!
OMG....Thank you. I really appreciate the compliment. I just to be honest with the audience to force myself to be brutally honest about my intentions and my work. I'm going to do what I can to make the best of this youtube career. Hopefully, it works out well. Having a hard to breaking into new audiences but I'm going to keep trying until I do.
@@vincentchristopherkofi Persistence and patience are key, and it sounds like you have those qualities in spades.
Appreciate the humility. That’s needed to be great in my book. Also, communicating what your passionate about is hard hard for me too! That’s a whole other career in itself
I appreciate you Ian. I'm really glad you enjoyed the video and I hope youre doing well. It is really tough but gotta stick to it!
The night shots really tell me about your trip if you didn’t give any insight. Very deco + modern.
Hey buddy, your work will pay off and your channel will explode before long. I think you got a great thing going and I like the way your rolling.
I really appreciate the kind words Ant! I think I realized that I just have to keep going and I definitely intend to do so! Thanks for commenting and the support!
Hi Vincent - I like what you said, you're doing good! Glad to see you set up a darkroom! Will check it out :) Images look super cool - love the one light one, redum is so good! i know what you mean about not getting who are you exactly across to the camera and this takes a long time to get used to, I just start to feel now that Im showing 20% of who I am in the videos. So keep going if you love it!
Redrum is definitely a stock I could shoot for no reason. I tried to do color photography to take a break from black and white but redscale just suited my type of work better I think. If you haven’t already, you should definitely give it a try. It’s usually very reasonably price even with inflation.
Thank you for the love, I definitely appreciate you and if you decide to get something from my darkroom. Let me know! Also if you don’t see something that you want, I can put it up on darkroom.
@@vincentchristopherkofi agree! ive tried the lomography redscale and the redrum but the redrum was more for me so definitely would shoot it again, especially since yeah it does seem to be priced ok!
@@vincentchristopherkofi will do! :)
@@vincentchristopherkofi I think I went to the right link but don't see any photos at the moment, did I get to the right place? :)
Cool night shots man! Nice storytelling too! I am still considering the hasselblad for film as well but stocks are a bit limited.
Which hassy were you most interested in?
I’m like you mate, I have only seen red rum in shot in a studio environment, looks really cool in daytime tho! Apocalypse vibes all the way!
It's the perfect response to the harsh sun. No doubt about it!
I love that Lomo people though I am a bit saddened by the lack of narration in this one. Overall it was very relaxing and filled with eye candy; good work 🙏🏿
Really enjoying your content style. You're making me want to start taking photos again 🥴 I'll be sending this one to my mom, she loves architecture and will really appreciate the views and commentary 💖
Working my way through your content steadily; appreciate the insight into your evolution in craft. Your content has been very clean though knowing you that is expected. Looking forward to your continued releases brother 💯
At least the good night shot was REALLy good! All you need is like 10 good shots a year anyway. (There's that Ansel quote.) Great stuff!
Hahahahaha! Thank you. It’s tough but it should a I have to keep honing my craft and the quality of each take. Definitely going back for a do over. If you have been to Vincentchristopher.com pop over and let me know what you think. Definitely don’t have to but anything. I’m working on some animations for the website as well.
Hey Vincent! There's a ton of great images on this one, well done man! Loving those Redrum shots, definitely need to give it a try 👍🏻
Thank you so much. I’m trying to make it happen one day at a time. Which is your favourite image? If you can’t find any Cinestill Redrum, let me know. I’ll send you one at cost. Or you can try another red scale film you fancy
@@vincentchristopherkofi Definitely 6:05 and 6:09! Ahh thanks man, I appreciate it! A few local labs around here have plenty of it, so I’ll just grab a roll 🎞
Love your work here brother, lots of beautiful images and video. Really dig the format too, can't wait to see more 🙏🏿❤️🔥💪🏿💯
Thanks Thomas! I hope you’ve been well. Which aspects of the video make you want to see more? Images, b-roll, or a-roll?
@@vincentchristopherkofi the redrum roll was intriguing as I've seen the palette before but never knew how it was achieved. I also enjoyed the contrast between the video of the area and the subsequent photograph; it made the quality of the film easier to evaluate. Honestly though, I think your narration is one of the best parts. You have a very intriguing cadence that complements your footage; feels like I'm in a tour through the city. I haven't watched your other videos yet but I think this one could be a series. I really enjoyed the concept and execution. 💪🏿🙏🏿💯
Loving the redrum. That autumn dusk tone really pops and brings a "intimate" cuddle season vibe.
Hahahahahahah, cuffin’ season! I’m thinking about trying this out with flash when we go to the beach, see what I can make it do. Do you prefer the high contrast images, or the photos that are where the subjects are more evenly lit?
The love the night views. Looking at them with just the lights bring a different feeling to the image.
I really like seeing the differences in the video and photo etc. Very different feels. Film, I love it.
I learned from the best! Which was your favourite? There’s not a tonne of film photography on RUclips in this format, do you feel like it can be enhanced by adding anything?
I love these shots man!

Which is your favourite?
@@vincentchristopherkofi The shot where you said the ship feels anchored/not moving
beautiful shots!! Very zen 🧘♀️
Thank you. Hope you enjoyed it!
Love it! Makes me miss taking photos. Imagoes make you feel like you’re there looking at the images face to face.
Thanks mom.
Great! Makes me excited to pull my last couple of Purple rolls out and put them through my Hasselblad.
Vey peaceful. I enjoyed this.
Glad you enjoyed it! What do you think about the lomo purple images?
Love the emotion portrayed in the images!🚀
<3 Thank you!
Very Educational! 🚀
Thanks, I’ll keep working on learning how to talk to the camera!
