Unfortunately this was a very short video and no detail about gueen Anne etc/ size /When built / number of passengers home port etc so very poor really
Well.done and congratulations for what you have achieved so far is just outstanding belfast
Jean Christophe has been a wonderful addition to Australian Masterchef. I wish him all the very best. I am in Ireland at the moment, but, unfortunately I shan’t get back to Belfast.
Fair play to you young Lady, that takes some doing. Me, I would get seasick on my local Pond, something that my Father would laugh about. He served in The Merchant Navy during WW2. He took part in The North Atlantic Convoys going to Murmansk in Russia. I wish you well.
At the age of 35 I'm applying to to do a deck officer cadetship. I'll be a Belfast harbour pilot one day 😁
The amount of things nicked under those flat hats was astonishing.
You know what you are talking about. We don't. Who built the vessel? Where at the entrance to Belfast Lough do pilots board or leave ships requiring pilots. Fuel used?
For reliable information suggest that you e-mail harbour commissioners. It’s the sort of boat that Red Bay (Antrim) might build.
Great job, Keith! I’m glad that you enjoyed your time in Belfast.
My Granda worked in the Shipyard as a blacksmith's apprentice. Never got any further than that because of being a Catholic. The bad old days, eh...
At least people believed in things back then... Even death was easier for people to face.. now people starve on the streets instead of being hung or killed in some way for the crimes they commit
Your talking shite, Joe Cahill the infamous muderous provo worked in H&W. Got a bit payment before he died through asbestos poisoning. Jusy like loads of other people from different communities in Belfast.
Lovely! And the Catholics starved
This is Brilliant
Was the same in the west of Scotland call in for a job ask you your first name remains is Thomas sorry son we don’t have to walk all over the Westin Scotland and it still works the pets everywhere no Catholic need apply been there done that
Yeah but Belfast is still Ireland's premier shithole.
My granddaddy chased out of there for being a Catholic. Stick you Harland and Wolfe, glad the bitter hole is closed down. My Da went on to do well in the south but always told me about grandad. Now we in the republic are worth a lot more. How is yer precious basket case state going for yee?
Load of rubbish. Catholics always worked in Harold.... And it's still going and does repairs and fit outs on ships currently 800 staff and guess what catholics work their. So stick your pathetic comments and I'm the poor catholic get over it
Well said
Bullshit there was plenty of catholics who worked in the yard maybe sumthing to do with ur granda two sides to every story
Excellent video...for more excellent family videos of Ireland search ...2015 IRELAND ROCKY
Republican bigot bots can relax, the world famous H&W Shipyard is across the river, this is the harbour/docks where most of the workers were Catholics.
Did'nt want to work take take take you like the Queen's money 💰
No catholics
How do you know? Did you take a poll or something? Away and chase yourself ffs
My great grandfather was a Catholic who worked in Belfast Harbour
Bigots one and all

@@nigelkavanagh2048 He is right. They are small fish, but they were all bigots.
Men leaving work and the fucking ballbags on here turn it into sectarian politics. Mindless fucking immature morons !
Finishing work at 1pm! Thats why its a museum now.
6am until 1pm
Daft
That was a Saturday afternoon five and a half days work, maybe the reason part of it is a museum is because they can get cheap Chinese labour now?
Any bus's going 2 Falls rd 😆

The docks didn’t allow non prods in the work force, a failed shitty little statelet, fuck all to celebrate after 100 years. Michael D was right not to go.

@@solidus784 The word your looking for is "protestant"...you're another bellend !
@@Drifty40 what are you talking about 🤡
And not one Catholic and where is it now it’s a museum to a ship that sunk to poor workmanship
No that's not true! There was a catholic started one Aug 1922, didn't like it moved on after a week: I can't have you being untruthful about the shipyard.
@@goalltheway-pm8xs He only lasted a week in the job because he was told to move on or else!

Disgrace . 130 years working perfectly . Mew lighthouse now decaying . Cottages bricked up contents destroyed . Not preservation.
Better preservation under Northern Lighthouse Board and Trinity House Than Commissioners Of Irish Lights.
Just seen him in portstewart leaving morrelis
