I’m surprised you foil after install. I would think that you foil and lighten those bits first, wash and dry and then install.
Just curious why criss cross? Wouldn’t that cause breakage vs just pulling hair from over weft under and bead?
I would start her off with 10vol and finish with 20vol because I don’t like to remove foils as I’m going but you do a great job in caring for your clients hair health

It doesn't show what you are actually doing. It keeps cutting off and going to another too short clip. Would have like to have seen full clips, hopefully next time!
