I just bought a fluting attatcment, do you have to have a lathe machine to use it? Looks like from what your doing, you don't as long as you can secure the wood.
*I have had this lathe for a few months.>>>**ur2.pl/854 ** It is a great lathe for someone that wants to try turning but does not want to spend the money for a larger lathe. I have turned out 35 tops, 5 hair pins, 4 small vases and one ring bowl. I had to force my self to walkaway with all the time I was spending in the garage. I would recommend to all my friends and family.*
Very interesting Lathe. 2 Screws on each side on the bottom, to hold a a plate template and a place where a round template could be used. Very nice. Most Lathes don't have that, which makes it night impossible to have 99% copies, which are necessary if you want to make the handrail in a staircase as example.
Nice job on the duplication. I noticed the dead centers between what you are duplicating and the template on the tail stock and the motor housing. Can you tell me what they are used for? Again, nice job
You can copy from an actually spindle mounted on those bolt things and the tool has a hole halfway down which I assume is where the template follower is mounted when replicate ding from a turned spindle.
I like what I see. I would also appreciate it you would share the name of this lathe duplicator in english. Could you just post it on here so others can benefit from it as well?
Bob Fleege I realize it's been 3 years since you asked, but it looks like he has a video where he shows how to use it turning from a sample. have you found the duplicator?
Hello your work is really magnificent with which saw got away to you your template(size) and or to find the copier whom you have we can make him(it) one even I thank you for your answer and still hat for the work I ask you for that because I dash with the wood lathe and I would like to make spindles for the lace thank you elitig
Where did you get your "cutting" tool
Why don’t you put the name and where you got your template cutter up thank you
Can you tell me where you purchased the cutting tool and the unit the cutter sits in thank you and the name of it
I love how the spinning router dances across the bench freely as you change the index.
Muito bom! Adorei o seu trabalho e o capricho que você tem! Parabéns!
Brilliant! 👍

I’d like to know what make of the lathe?
ok its all fine to have a copy lathe, but how do you make the template for part making?
If you look closely you can make your own duplicator it's not that hard
