oh there's MANY retro classics that I've been playing. Sadly some of them failed to hold my attention and this is one of them as I did eventually end up shelving it because it took so long to get the first piece and I had no clue where to look for the second apart from it being hidden in a hidden location that people only knows exists in legend. Plus, I have many more games to get to! Regardless, glad you enjoyed it.

Yes, it is revolting that they've been reanimating the undead to kill people. Not to mention all the other amalgamations that these Eldritch beings create.

The game itself is pretty jank as times I admit and you really are kind of scared off when you see the stats screen with no actual idea or experience as to what you are meant to do. Hell, I'm certain I probably missed many major parts of the game because I didn't take too much information in, anyway. I really do love this game and it has such a great cast of characters and the humour is really hilarious. Especially when they were on Democratus and Stiletto's whole mission was a big Star Wars trolling activity.

@@lvndszzzz0 Have you ever heard of Rule of Rose for the PS2. That's pretty disturbing and involves both actual and suggested abuse to kids and animals.

I honestly never had these issues so I'm afraid I can't help you there. Did you try a rom from a different place? Did you update the emulator? Have you altered the emulator's settings? Have you made certain it's not a hardware issue like your CPU or GPU being throttled?

@derekcastillo8508 I meant emulator as in Dolphin or Retroarch? Have you tried configuring the settings? I can't help much more in that area because every system is different. Settings for the PC I had back then won't work for me now, ect.

Good point. I did have fun with the event, however, it really was a massive pain in the ass. Especially when you don't have anything to really show for it beyond the decals...then again people DO pay for the decals and everything so...

@@megakirbo4250 backlog of videos. Plus I wanted to add something to the videos I schedule bi-weekly as opposed to the daily ones. The rest of them are over a year old.

Thanks and yeah the story ones "Not a Hero" (where you play as Chris Redfield immediately after Ethan leaves) and "End of Zoe" (where you play as her Uncle, Jack's brother, to save her by punching the crap out of the molded!) are certainly worth it. I also did the puzzle game where Margarette has you cuffed to a bed and trying to feed you, but every time she returns she noticed if you've taken something or arranged something for the puzzles in the room, ect. It's tense because you want to remember where everything is and place it back in time. Thanks for the comment and the like!

@@Lycanthony I'll have to correct it. I only realised my mistake after starting the game up again, trying to get achievements for getting all coins and bobbleheads along with unlocking the defence boose and shoes to move quicker. Then try to finish in under 4 hours to get the buzzsaw and glasses.

Yup, but I have such a massive backlog of videos. I've still got some to update from several months ago and four a day still ain't cracking it.

@@user-bk6jg3tj7m Parasite Eve. It's a classic from the PS1. A horror/RPG hybrid that's well known in retro circles. Quite different from what Square used to make.

@@The_gaming_archaeologist It def does, bc I've never played it (90s kid not into turn-based at the time), and the art style looks terrific, especially for its time.

@@quackman GameCube version has all the extra stuff, so I'd recommend it over the original Dreamcast version. I never had a GameCube, but always wanted to play this game and was so glad to finally play it.

Well, the game has been delisted a while back so the only way you can obtain it nowadays is the same way I did, by activating a code I bought off amazon but I don't know if you can still these days. Only so many codes were put out on those bits of cardboard. Also, you have to hack/fix it every time you start up, but the upgrades you have done remain, which is funny that the stupid code doesn't recognise that it's been unlocked last play session, but oh well.

You need to get the Royal Jelly when you defeat Seikamater and equip it to any female insect that you find in that hive. Once they level up, they'll instead, evolve into the queen here. I did make a joke about my theory that the events of this game, followed by the breakup with his girlfriend is what drove him to drink. I know I'd lose it if I was running around the world to reclaim my birthday gifts from a pissed off acorn, risking life and limb to save my girlfriend and then nearly dying multiple times for her to then leave me. Worst birthday ever!

My issue was that I had never heard of what a RASP is, so it took a walkthrough to help.

I'm still confused as to why it was attached to a key to the bathroom. Clerk said it's to prevent stealing of the keys but that didn't explain anything and it's making me irrationally angry lol

@@WeaselOnaStick It's a way of preventing loss (or, I suppose, theft) of keys. In other words, the small keys are attached to something much larger, and more difficult to lose. You must have seen that sort of thing before, restroom keys (or other such keys) attacked to big spoons or whatever else.

@scottcharney1091 I remember seeing that with big items and such, though my main confusion was that I'd never heard of a "Rasp" before so I'd not idea what it was for. I've never seen the key think irl. Every stop I've gone to has public toilets that are open to the public and have cleaners and ect.

It was a comment my friend made if you've seen the show, you know how suggestive and full of fetish fuel it is.

I highly doubt that. I'm nowhere near important enough to make that kind of impact and if they did make one, it'd be chock-full of micro-transactions, cheaters and other such. Both Outbreak games were interesting ideas, ultimately fell at the first hurdle.

@@Addicted2MyOppz as I argued in the main video with my psedo review, it was ahead of it's time in regards to the multiplayer and like certain other PS2 games, would benefit greatly from the current state of the internet. Not to mention, I liked some of the unique ideas they had in it, like being able to use a nail gun to put up the loose boards and block the doorway or in file 2 there's the zombie Elephant that you have to trap, being a boss you can't simply shoot to death and requires a team effort. I did catch a streamer playing it online. Thanks to the power of emulation. It could get a great benefit from current internet infrastructure, but not certain I'd trust the company not to fill it with game-breaking Micro-transactions.

I hadn't actually known the controls at the time, hence the confusion. For Retroarch I discovered it was R3 I think.
