So how did you manage to slide the hose rubber around the metal plate? there's no space to do that, that's the most interesting thing to see unfortunately it's not shown in the video

I'm going to try to get the OEM stopper/plug into the hole but I may revert to this method if I get frustrated. Replacing that thing is a PITA. Seeing as the Vehicle Inspector dinged me for mine being bypassed at the plug, I have to fix it. This is one of those jobs where you need "the strength and know-hoe of a man and the hands of a little girl"! JIC my "tape the plug on the tip of a screwdriver and press"- does not work, I'm using some scrap hose! Thanks Brad

I've been given a quote of $1,500 to add 9 steel fence posts and replace a few fence boards. That is excessive, so I think I will have to fix my fence since most companies are charging that minimum fee to do the work. What tools will I need to drill that hole (I live in TX with clay soil). That is my biggest concern is getting that 2 foot hole dug and then setting the post correctly. And then what tools will I need to attach the posts to the fence. Thanks

Quick question, do you just wedge it in between the metal bracket and the button or do you slide the hose rubber onto the metal bracket ? I wedged the rubber hose in between and it works but it was also now start without even engaged the clutch, was just curious which one you did ?

Does the fruit not need the sunlight to help it ripen? I'm new at growing peaches. My first tree has tiny fruit on it right now and I'm looking for ways to protect it from birds or squirrels. I covered them in the recent cold snap with warm socks to protect them, but I hadn't thought to cover them like that to protect from "predators".

You have holes in the wire that defeats the whole purpose of putting it on.

When you don't have a wine bottle opener, I demonstrated how to open wine bottle with a fixed bladed small knife. A large knife will not work. Be careful when using knives. Don't use a folding knife!

For those who have tried this and for some reason can get it to work, Just unplug the pigtail that connects directly to that clutch pedal start switch ( may be called clutch switch assembly. for example. mine for my 05 civic si is part 36760-SE0-003 found here www.hondapartsnow.com/parts-list/2005-honda-civic--3dr_si-ka_5mt/chassis/pedal.html?PNC=7 ) and instead use a paper clip to bypass it. Meaning plug the paper clip ( one end into the left part of the pigtail and one end into the right part of that same pigtail). I guaranteed you if you do this right, you can now crank your civic regardless of whether or not you press in the clutch pedal. *** warning though **. ensure your in neutral before attempting to crank using this method or your car will jump/stall on you upon cranking. I don't know why the dumbasses at Honda designed the arms of these clutch pedals not to make direct contact with pushing the black spring loaded pin ends of these clutch switches ( both the starting switch as as well the cruise control one on my car) and should have instead just at least drilled a hole, simply tapped it, and used a big enough metal bolt/screw with a big enough wrench-fitting head on it in which to make the contact pushing in the pin to do it's job. These plastic or rubber little pieces are difficult to pin point when searching for them as replacement parts.

Story time. I drove from PA to my friends place in Florida. My 91 civic ran like a champ entire trip. I need to stop for gas and I'm about an hour away from my destination. Fill up get a Gatorade and the thing just won't start back up sitting at the pump. Know my batteries strong. So I get a kind stranger behind the wheel and push it to a hotel that luckily shares the parking lot with the gas station. I buy a 200 dollar hotel room an hour away from my buddies place and I'm thinking starter, ignition switch, or starter fuse. Ive never seen a car just not even attempt to crank before and I'm whacking on the starter pulling fuses jiggling the keys and youtubeing my ass off. After watching a chrisfix vid I know to check for the clutch switch but the design of it in his video is way different and I can't find any wires or any sensors because I'm looking to low on the pedal(around the spring and nut). Then I watch this video and the lightbulb finally turns on and I'm kicking myself for being a complete moron because the same freaking thing already happened to me with the brake light switch and I already have this piece sitting in my glove box because it came in the same pack with the brake light part. So I'm out the price of a hotel room for being a complete moron.

Two feet in the ground, only two rails...lucky you don't get any real wind or frost heave, else that won't last but a couple of seasons where I live. If you intend to keep using that old wood, you need to treat it. The older and greyer it gets, the more brittle the wood becomes.

U could use a block of magnet too for a temporary fix

(I'm working with a '92 Honda Accord) I could NOT get this to work with my fat ol fingers, sad to say. BUUUUT.... I DID come up with a temporary fix. I simply unscrewed the neutral safety switch and screwed it into where the Cruise Control switch was. (They had the same thread, nice. Otherwise I'd have to press down the neutral switch by hand every time I wanted to start.) The only thing is, now I have to leave the clutch UP and make sure I'm out-of-gear when starting lol (I never could get cruise control to work, and now I know why! Silly plastic stops falling apart after a quarter century. Same thing with my brake pedal and always-on brake lights a year or so ago. Google "Dorman Part 74015" for a quick visual reference.) So: if you just need to get to work in the morning, this is one way of doing it. I'll probably fail my annual safety inspection in a few months as a result. But once it cools down and I have the time, I'll just have to pull apart some paneling to give myself access the to clutch housing and do it right! Cheers to everyone fixing their cruddy old vehicles and not wastefully throwing away what they have in this disposable society we live in. This thing's a reliable old tool that gets me from point A to point B, not a status symbol.

This is an inexpensive 7 1/2 foot light duty ladder that I build from old 2x4's. This ladder only cost me a box of 3 inch screws. If you wish to build one, you do so at your own risk. This ladder should not be built too tall and it's not designed to climb with heavy loads. This design is not suitable for construction sites. I only use it to harvest fruit from a tree.I hope this video gave you ideas and was helpful to you
