Usually, around 630pm. Everyday. A lot of times l 302 and 303 meet in South Lyon

Question - my band and I are going to be in South Lyon (my hometown!) next week, and we want to record a sound effect of one of the trains passing by for one of our songs! What days / times would you recommend to catch one of the trains rolling through South Lyon? Thank you sir!
What rail type is that? It's too quiet for a freight train, even at slow speeds
Hi, thanks for your question. L-302 and L-303 come through about anytime between 4pm and 730pm. I have been lucky in the past to catch a meeting between these.

No, I have not. Just to photograph. I think the Wolverine only stops there a couple of times a week.

Wow - awesome. That layout is incredibly realistic. Love the cab forward 4126. Somebody put in many, many hours of planning and work to create this incredible layout.
The Detroit Model RR Club was founded in. 1974. This has been an ongoing build since. At one time, the club was in Detroit and moved to Holly Michigan in the old Holly theatre. It is breathtaking to see this layout in operation.
