I can't believe there's someone else that knows about Grand Chase. That's one of my favorite games.
@@moochgf Same for me honestly! I've always wanted to make a game inspired by Grand Chase. I loved the combat, dungeons were amazing and the pvp was super fun (with the exception of getting grabbed in lag). Zero and Lass were my favourite characters followed by Jin and Sieghart. Glad to know the game is still remembered by others :)

@@moochgf It seems additionally a lot of custom animations and weapons are allowing the vfx to show themselves appropriately in your vids too do you sell them along with your VFX assuming they are animations retargettable for the UE4/UE5 rig? Wouldn't make much sense to get the VFX if you can't have the animations too since they seem very applicable to them
@@Justin_Shadow The weapon you see I made myself but unfortunately I just used assets from the marketplace for animations.

Most of my knowledge is just self taught but there are some channels out there that helped me. www.youtube.com/@rinban This channel helped me with making certain materials for my effects. I was able to follow along without understanding what was being said just by watching. I'm trying to get a tutorial uploaded soon if I can, it may not be the best for my first try but I'm sure I'll make more later on.

I did this all in sequencer. I'm trying to finish up a tutorial to show how I make my effects, hopefully I can upload it thursday.

I never took any courses. I just taught myself how to make these effects with some random tutorials on youtube and trying out different things.
