I don't personally even think he's the hardest in the dlc. He has maybe 2 mixups and a very simple moveset that is largely copied from the base game. I can understand why people say he's the hardest because he can absolutely nuke your healthbar in seconds but once you know how to deal with his bs, the fight becomes roll simulator

He's so cool but it's a shame he is such a badly designed boss. Bad hitboxes, in the second phase he lights up the whole screen with lights to the point you can't even see what's happening. Also let's not forget that he can launch an attack and immediately begin the second one while the first one is still going which means the dodge timings get mixed up or sometimes become impossible. At least the rest of the dlc was very good. Especially Messmer, what a fcking boss. I was waiting to fight him since i first saw him in the trailer and i wasn't disappointed at all.
