Thanks for using the map I appreciate it. 🙏 The animation looks great, like the movements and the lighting looks almost spot on to the original film, especially in the close-ups of the animatronics. Happy to see a Five Nights at Freddy's animation that I can actually track with my eyes... Don't get me wrong the "Let Me Out" Collab was incredible, though I couldn't tell what on earth was going on. You blink and you miss it XD As opposed to this being a cinematic animation.. umm not quite there are resemblances to a cinematic style throughout and you're definitely heading down the right track. I'd say the closest shots to cinematography were close-ups of Bonnie, and Chica as that did send chills down my spine because of how accurate it almost is. I feel like the only problem is the lighting was too bright on them. When it comes to cinematography you need to follow a few things: > Stick to a consistent color pallet throughout each environment of an animation ( Each map sticks to the same lighting throughout until you change ) > Always point the camera towards the dark side of the lighting and have the light side on the other side. > If you animating a session with character movement and camera movement animate in 30fps ( This is known as the default frame rate for animation ) animating in 60fps although it looks nice, it is too smooth and unrealistic. > For resolution it Doesn't matter what resolution you use. I would suggest 1080p at most as most things don't support 4K and it just saves you wasted time in the rendering phase. As what's the point of waiting longer when most of the You Tube platform can't watch it because they don't have a 4K monitor? > Color correction during post-production to do all the heavy lifting as SFM's rendering system looks washed. Plus you can always improve the color massively through editing anyway. If you are using editing software I highly recommend "Davinchi Resolve" by Black Magic as it's the best editing software hands down There's way more to cinematography if you want to learn a bit more about it check out the RUclips channel called "Studio Binder" Which will teach you the fundamentals of cinematography and film. This information even though it's for filmmaking you can use the knowledge in animation as well. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyways massive thank you for using the map once again. Sorry about the long bible of information lol just figured I would give you some assistance and guidance if you are indeed trying to create a cinematic style in the future. Plus I just come back from witting an assignment for college so I'm in a good writing mood so I got carried away ha ha XD Anyhow great animation look forward to seeing what you make in the future.
