Best video I have seen on this topic! Thank you so much!
Very useful video. Thank you!
This looks like a great resource! I'm definitely a visual and auditory learner. And only $50! I'm already using a prep course my university gave us for free but if I fail the LMSW exam I will buy this for sure (or definitely for the LCSW-C when the time comes).
Excellent brief intro to preparing for exam plus highly valuable "tricky" questions that could trip up a student easily if they don't have sufficient knowledge and experience with answering license exam questions. The rationales provided great insight into correct way of considering, evaluating and eliminating option. And the EAP acronym was great too!
nicrr
How long does it take to go through the information typically? I am retesting on Dec. 6.
I keep relying on this video when I have to write a research paper. thanks for this!
"one being the worst panic attack you ever had, ten being total serenity " etc while on screen the scale you are showing works the opposite way. It makes the scale very confusing for me that you are using a graphic opposite to your words.
Thank you. Is there a basic book covering SFBT?
As a practitioner who may unearth an unhealthy belief from religion, how do you navigate that?
Be skeptical of parental alienation syndrome, unless you go to the learning council on interpersonal violence, and read the pedophilic writings of Richard A. Gardener. He made a fortune testifying on behalf of verified incestuous fathers, fabricating a disorder to force children into the custody of these abusers, and wrote in support of adults, violating children, and it took hundreds of kids away from their mothers just on his cases alone. It's a pretty nefarious line of thinking, and his writings of grotesquely pro pedophilia and the inappropriate contact between the abusing adult and the child is seen as having "pro creative" benefit. They have perverted the relationships children should have with their fathers in abandon child safety, which is a first in psychiatry. Then they went after the disabled by creating fabricated forms of addiction, directed at them, and only them. The term chronic pain was literally brought in as a diagnosis along with the corruption, and of course, only in America. Just do marital counseling and stay away from this crap.
Career span the DSM three and four landing on five with as many arbitrary things and you could ever possibly imagine. Then discovered Dr. John Davies telling the truth about the DSM five. It is rife with pharmaceutical solutions to new categories of psychiatric disorders to be treated with these very medications-but that's not the worst thing in there even. Monied interests have caused generic medication for pain -safely used for over 100 years -- restricted now for incurable disabled people to (hopefully unintentionally, shortened their lives.) and coerce disabled people into doing all manner of dangerous, profitable things out of desperation, to gain their mobility back. the Suboxone and addiction industry went way out of control in the DSM five because we have multiple patents and many things to try out new patients. Because of what I now am shocked at what I've seen. It's just a random team. The DSM- is a team like the others --nine guys in ties at a long table making things up.
A-ha! A positive symptom is a symptom that shouldn't be there in a healthy person! I get it now! Thank you!

My question is... studying Donald Trump and his mental condition. Is it possible for his condition to get worse or can he actually be stopped from completely destroying America for his own satisfaction of being the most powerful man in history?
I heard your stomach at 4:03 HAHAHAHAHAHHAH
This helped me so much by breaking it down by asking these questions!!!
People really go to university and don't even know every single mental illness when 14 year olds memorize the DSM in 2 weeks 😂 i hate all of you
This video with the code of ethics is helpful. I'm studying for the LMSW exam. Thank you
Hi Karen, I am interested to order but like to know if this guide is a pdf, or paper format? Thank you!

Love your videos and PDF study guide! Other than the official practice exam, your exam study content is my favorite, hands down.
So glad to hear this, thanks for sharing!
I've seen it on an exam version.
Thank you!
You go too fast
I have to take this stupid exam for the 4th time. This time on a waiver because I was 9 points away from passing... Talk about feeling defeated for weeks... I will remember this acronym throughout the exam. Maybe this is what I was missing. I swear the whole exam didn't even really mention theorists etc, it was all based on First, Most, Best, questions.
did you retake the exam?
Did you pass?

Thank you. I was in a "crisis" and needed to hear a voice spell it out; A, B, C, D, E and do an exercise. I wrote my unhelpful thoughts and beliefs down and now feel unburdened.
I really needed this thank you.
