Nope. Skip the chaser just go to Napa (or any local tool store with the actual tap) and get an 18mm x1.5 tap. It’s better than the chaser and just a little more money.

That's how my sensor got out. It is worse than yours optically but with a little time and a dremel , make in fit again inside the catalyst. I have put some antiseize grease and will never stuck again. If your sensor is not at good shape but works fine, you don't need to buy new one.

These cameras are so much fun to experiment with. I've also used mine as a dashcam. Works great, albeit at lower resolution than my real dashcam. I've also powered mine with a battery pack, tethered it to an extra cell phone we have. I put an outdoor shield on the camera, mounted it on an ammo box with the rest of the electronics, the ppwer pack, inside the box, and then used this setup as a game camera in a pasture, except with live video I could see on my phone app anywhere. In that way I could see all the way across the field instead of what a game camera only gets, something just 50 feet in front of it. Worked great.

Just to let someone else know those sockets they spread under pressure. You can use small clamp with a screw and put it around the socket when u have it on the sensor, it helps to keep it together when you turn your ratchet . It prevents stripping of the nut 😊 .
