I saw bodies falling from the towers on t.v. I saw it on the news. Don't believe it when people say it was never shown on t.v. It was the first image I saw when I got home from school.

Tommy is such a self righteous ass! Like in season 2 when he treats like Justin badly when he relapses and yet he's having an affair with Lena.

God, in all the seasons of BandS I can't stand Tommy. He's always so quick to assign blame to everyone else and demand they take responsibility, yet when it comes to him, there's always an excuse. Little wonder Justin turned to drugs.

A fact that I've been preaching for years. How many innocents has America murdered across the globe in the entirety of it's history? There's a reason why America refuses to join the World Court system. They know the bulk of their country would be executed for crimes against humanity. Moreover, I've yet to see any weapons of mass destruction, the ones that allegedly justified their actions. America is the greatest hypocritical joke of the modern age.

This is the most beautiful and hearthed scene between a mother and her son I've seen... Justin is so weak at that moment, but Nora is there ! To all the moms in the world, thank you being there !

It's so hard to believe that 9/11 happened ten years ago. And I know that Calista is an actress and she wasn't actually there and this is show, but the emotions are spot on. I should know, I'm a born and bred New Yorker. Even though I was only 8 when the attacks happened, I still feel the impact and I thank God everyday that on that day everyone I love was safe. Never Forget 9/11

@Kevindl1985 Yes, but they sign up trusting the people in charge to make wise decisions about what battles are worth them losing their lives for and what aren't, and in the recent cases of iraq and in some ways afghanistan, they were completely let down and forced to fight in a war many of them didn't believe in.

They got it wrong. I was in high school when 9/11 happened. A teacher came into my art class and said, "Did you hear? We're under terrorist attack!" like maybe it was a joke. I found out nothing more the rest of the day; none of my teachers turned on the t.v. I knew nothing substantial until I got home. My sister and I turned on the news and the FIRST (FIRST) images we saw were people jumping. I'll NEVER forget. It WAS on t.v.. Nora (or Bro&Sis writers) wasn't watching the same channel.

I like how, during William's speech about how they can't control the world, the words he used tied in perfectly with the people the camera was focused on. When he mentioned the bombs, the camera was focused on Tommy (who mentioned it), when he mentioned diplomacy the camera was turned to show Kevin and Kitty's reaction and when he mentioned love, the camera was focused on Nora.

this is such a powerful scence the trauma is so real my mom was there..this sounds like what she said
