We are gonna take you behind the scenes and show you what a typical day at the shop looks like for me in the day to day operations of running and owning Monrovia Alignment. What was supposed to be a bolt on turbo kit has now turned into a fully fabricated turbo kit for the drift build. There has been a lot of chopping, welding, and modifying just to make this kit fit. The shop's drift build is finally getting some attention, In this video we will be installing a CX Racing Turbo kit on our 1990 Nissan 240sx S13. We are pretty much gonna go over the parts that come with the kit as well as the beginning of the installation. Our goal is to hopefully make over 200 hp without blowing up the engine. Now that the car is straight piped we decided to take it out to the Touge2track night event for a test drive. This is the first time back to Streets of willow with the new engine. It is safe to say it is a different animal compared to the B20 Turbo, as the previous engine set up made 270hp with a bit more torque in the higher rpm range, the k24 swap with 232hp has much better power delivery ear...

Would be cool hear you voiceover the in car footage as well, for some pointers or learning about your car so we can hear the process too. Also thanks for the good quality audio on the in car clip, the audio of the car was so crisssssspy!
I can definitely do that for the next streets video! One thing I will say: practice makes perfect! The more seattime you get, the better you will become. Glad you liked the audio 🙏 had the mic strapped to my seat harness
I'll never forget when my muffler fell off on my accord cb7 and it was so load no one wanted to hear it but then one day I lost all the pipe on the job site and it was so load i couldn't bother trying to listen to the radio anymore 😂😂😂

Omg you guys dont know how to do it. You all keep doing the same thing and getting thr same result, equal diameter is not going to help the sound , but back the resonator an keep the straight pipe look out the back , that's all I'm o say , but no one is going to listen.
@@christopherdaniel2747 I’m all ears 🙂 I did this for 2 reasons: the resonator was too low so it would scrape and and I wanted it to be obnoxious. Both goals achieved.
Are you disappointed that your making less power now after going through the swap process ?
@@Izanami2442 not at all! It’s weird to explain but it’s faster in a different way. There is no lag anymore. Torque is instant now compared to waiting for the turbo to spool. Also RPM is set to 8500 instead of 6900 so I have a bigger power band to play with. Before I would run out of gear in certain sectors of the track so I would have to hit the rev limiter. Now I don’t have to 😌

Everyone should boycott,laguna seca and every other track that tries to pull this saying it’s too loud. It’s a RACE event at a RACE track with RACE cars… I’d look into who funds that place a.k.a who owns it ,ca politicians
It honestly makes no sense, but apparently it’s only one person. So far it’s only Laguna seca, as I went FULL SEND at streets of willow this past weekend and no complaints 😅
