AAAA I’m getting flashbacks to when I was in this show stop. (good flashbacks dw.) I was in the ensemble but I also played Grover for opening weekend because our Grover got sick and I learned I would be playing him the day before 😭 super fun, the goat legs were lowkey comfortable

I actually asked her about this at the stage door when it was on tour. I'm paraphrasing, but she said that she felt something was missing from the original version to make it pop, so she tried this and it stuck.
