США
Добавлен 20 янв 2021
Hello, my name is Bo Cumberland and I have been documenting Whiskey for several years now. I have tons of footage from some of the coolest places, hanging out with some of the coolest folks. I have spent the last few years telling their stories but now I am going to use this footage for telling mine!
We will talk about some cool things that happened to me along the way, some of the coolest folks I have ever met and some of the best, (and not so best) whiskey I have ever tasted.
So, sit back, enjoy the ride as we discuss My Journey Through the American Spirits!

Last Pour: Episode 1 | Neeley Family Distillery's Marshmallow Blackbelt
Last Pour - Episode 1: Neeley Family Bourbon “Marshmallow Blackbelt”
Welcome to Last Pour, a series where I honor the stories behind my favorite bottles of bourbon as I enjoy their final pour.
In this first episode, I say goodbye to Neeley Family Distillery’s Marshmallow Blackbelt, a wheated bourbon that was my introduction to the craft and my first bourbon love. With notes of coffee, dark caramel, baking spices, and a surprising kick, this single barrel holds a special place in my collection-and my heart.
This bottle came into my life when I was just getting into bourbon and meeting some amazing people in the industry, including Royce Neeley, the owner of Neeley Family Distillery. It’s not ...

Going to visit these guys tomorrow!
Love this! What a fantastic idea! And, not too surprising to have Royce Neeley bottle as your first love!!!! 🥃😍
Thank you! Love your videos too!!
For people we like we bring out the good stuff. Begins to offer the $30 entry level bourbon 🥃
Hello, I was wondering, if I can share with you the most important thing ever. God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. Then He was put into a tomb for 3 days, after that Abba Father raised Jesus to life. He appeared to people, and went back to heaven. We all must sincerely receive Jesus into our life to be God's child. John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" Will you today genuinely by faith receive Jesus into your life for salvation?
I enjoy visiting Whiskey Thief when hitting the trail. Fun place. From Michigan, we try and get to Kentucky every couple years.
My family cemetery is in Beattyville. My grandmother was a Mays. My father was a Sams. Would love to learn more about my family roots and history. Eudell Mays Sams was my grandma. Seville Sams was my grandfather.
Visited your Distillery 2 yrs. ago for a tasting and bought a bottle of Rye (Glenn's Creek), I loved it. I live in North Carolina, wish I could find one here.
My favorite place to visit. I have found a place in New York state that sells some of your bottles.
Freddie is the GOAT. Given a classic pour he was still the ultimate gentleman. He poured her glen first, then his own. The bourbon world is our hope for the future.
Love, love , LOVE ROCKCASTLE!! ❤️🥃
Excited to see the final product!!😁
Not only is Freddie a legend in the bourbon industry, but he is also a national treasure to the United States and the history of this country. I hope that when I take my tour to Buffalo Trace this Christmas season, I have the opportunity to meet him. Thank you for this wonderful conversation.
❤❤❤ it!!!! Especially the old jewels like Glennscreek and Castle & Key.
Those are some of my favorite spots in all of Kentucky!
John!!
I was there last week to pick up my OCD#5 & Premium bottle during KBF which was my most exited bottles to try by months! And now...are in my glass so cheers to John his team from GCD! Great video and yes this is place to be & must see!
A great guy! Congratulations, Jade. Just a distiller gave you that grit, that spirit!
You should see what they are doing now!!!!
I was there in 2017 and tokk the only tour they had at that time, hosted by Dave himself, which was extra special as I was the only one on the tour. After the tour we did a tasting and talked for quite some time. I left with a signed bottle of OCD #5 .I plan on stopping again.
Love this Video. Just found it looking for Glenn’s Creek Distillery. Going there on Wednesday. Also Subbed to your channel. We hope to take a lot of footage while in Kentucky. Just started our channel back in December 2023
Woodb illies.....every day
Why would you leave your grandmas house a mess? Clean it up for her
Love this guy! Looks real familiar, like I know him from somewhere! Thanks for the roofer shoutout haha!
Have to be rich in other parts of the country to live like that. :.
Granny is so gorgeous with a golden heart that’s a real beauty right there a true American women she is breathtaking ❤️👍
You are 100 percent right. My wife and I live in pennsyltuckey in the Appalachian Mountains on the mountain side. No grass to mow just live among the trees. My wife of 52 years shares the same beauty . My grandchildren call me Opa and mom Oma. German for grandpa and grandma. Nothing like the country ways. From my great grandpa down we have been drinkin our own making. Mostly rye instead of corn. Like you have been all over and always come back. No place and nothing like coming back home. As soon as you start up our mountain it feels like the weight of the world has just been lifted off your back. Live on wild game. Deer, turkey, rabbit and squirrel and such for meat. Oma puts out a good garden and makes airtights to keep stuff for the winter. Have our own apple, cherry and pear trees. Our own blue and black berries. Everything we need. Wouldn't ever have to leave the place. Our own little country. Amen. Nothing like the old hillbilly way of life.
you all have a good time being together that’s what it’s all about and love and family I seen you get a little sad thinking about your family that you lost I feel your pain I lost my mom she was 52 in 2006 and my dad three years later at 59 in 2009 lost my pap in 1998 it’s a deep pain the loss never stops hurting we just learn to live on with out them but that spot in our hearts will be forever empty god bless you and the wife I pray all the time you guys are in my thoughts and prays message me any time brother take care of Oma and I know she will always take care of OPA :) that’s beautiful thanks for taking the time to say hello I’m from Pennsylvania
I’m from that neck of woods we don’t bother nobody and we don’t even want anybody bothering us as well

Being i live in upstate N.Y i see the way these people live ,it makes me jealous. Not for what they have but for the life they live ! From the time i was a little kid i always loved farming. I grew up on a vegetable farm and i garden myself but i just want to be free ! Freedom is almost non existant in New York ! I. H A T E N . Y . !
My husband and I visited last month. David was a wealth of knowledge, and everything we tasted was great. I can’t wait to return and schedule another visit. Thank you for a memorable trip.
Just found your channel and subscribed, one of my best friends is from kentuck and she can sing. Love listening to her.
I grew up drinking old crow
Very very interesting video David is right The grains we grow are not the same as back then people don't realize also that the wood that they were using when they were aging the barrels back then had deeper tannins the wood was older well over a hundred years old but they have all been used through the Appalachian trail and you don't have any more old growth trees for making them great tasting barrels any longer😢
Very nice place Old crow has a lot of history when I see that distillery there makes me jealous it's not me lol I've been distilling my great grandfather's recipe for many years always been a dream of mine.. stopped in there last year and picked up batch 1 bottle 27 and put it into my grandchildren's collection.....
I went there in Oct '23 and was rudely told they don't have tours anymore.
Fun times my friend.
Fascinating & informative for me too, doing a bit of due diligence on this Distillery. I hope to convince a UK firm too invest in a Barrel pick 😉
'Promo sm' 😂
LOVE IT
Yea, we used to look at what other people had not wanting it but looking it over so we could go home and make it. Arkansas hillbilly here!!
Absolute enlightening hour of my life listening to this man. Great information from a great man. I hope to meet him someday.
💚 from the middle of W.V.
I'm a new subscriber. Have you thought about metal detecting around your grandma's property?
Ohh that’s such a good idea. Might find some old money
