Jake your sound effects are great! Sounds like learning to drive a stick shift.
This was how i got my two year old to really give as a yearling, I ponied him around! I took a stick and string and helped him figure it out by letting the string fall on his rear when he set back. It made a huge difference... I've gone so far as to play with trying to get him to pull back on cross ties since then. He's doing fantastic with it, i trust him to stand tied better than any other horse i know.
love what you do Jake. so calm, patient and understanding
He kept putting you in his left eye. 😅
Amazing, so much feel and relaxation, goals!!! ❤
BEAUTIFUL VIDEO!
Nice riding on the part of the owner! Stayed quiet, soft, steady hands, sitting back!
Remy is such a nice mare I am so glad the owner got good help! Wonder what a DNA test of Remy would show.....
That was a successful chit. :)
You definitely make it look easy.
Love Remmy❤ Good luck & happy trails! Take care are, so happy for both of you ❤
One two three CHANGE was always my mantra when working on them!
Oh my!! You did it again !! You have made me laugh so hard with your tiny voice talking for the horse. It’s been difficult to laugh often because with cancer it can make you troubled. But I loved horses all my life and you help me with you shuttle humor. Thank you!
@@Mimi-ip9xc glad we can offer some smiles in a tough time. Hang in there! 💪🏻
She is beautiful!
I want to say thank you to Devan for asking for help! So many people would have given up and sold Remy. Devan worked and paid for help for horse and herself. Major Kudos to you Devan! ❤
This guy is a professional horse trainer genius comedian!! I sure find Will Smith disgusting human being but 90 by man and leave 1o percent to woman.I honestly think this horse finds you amusing and interesting with the song notes sounds. I’m sure the most out out of character his he has ever met!!! He definitely has an interest in you! I love horses all my life and just stopped riding 50 years ago with life circumstances I became a Nurse and worked many years with sexually abused children mostly. These same techniques psychologically used towards every damaged children. Thank you … mimi
Fantastic work… All three of you! This is so wonderful to see! ❤❤
THIS.....makes me happy🥹🥹🥹
You sure have a unique way of training the owner.....😊
She is an amazing horse!!!
I so wish i had a horse. Had pony MANY moons ago, but doesnt mean i cant enjoy this.❤
She is a beauty❤❤❤
Great news! Congratulations
@@smm2476 thanks!
Nice.
I love this! It never occurred to me to try to disengage the hip from my pony horse, though!
Glad you like it! Let me know how it goes for you when you try it.
I have followed Remmy's journey from the beginning & it is truly amazing! So glad all the training & patience has paid off and resulted in a horse that has a restored vs. broken spirit! Wish there were more people like you two in this world!
GREAT JOURNEY WITH REMY. Thank you so much for sharing the training. ❤ I learned a lot.
Hi again. I’m watching your video on. Are we ever going to ride this horse. And you laid Remi down again, now I’m wondering, will you lay her down with her right leg tied up? Since she is sensitive on her right side I’m wondering if this is a task that may be difficult for her, maybe fearful? Thanks again for the videos.
We mostly used the one leg tied up. I tied different legs though to help with farrier prep.
Thanks for your reply
Hi, I’m watching you and Remmy. You are on the rail and slowly mounting her bareback. I have a horse that is uncertain about me on her bareback. I have also tried to ride my horse wi❤th a bareback pad, like yours and my horse was not use to that also. I can ride her with a saddle. Is your technique one I could introduce to my horse to eventually ride my horse bareback or with my bareback pad? Thanks
@@cyndidaves5313 for sure! The way I do it keeps me on the fence if the horse needs to move away and helps me slowly get them used to the rider and feel on their back. It can take some strength and conditioning and coordination for the human to work off the fence so practice without a horse if you need to and have a good strong fence or panel to work off.
Hi, yes I appreciate your videos and the time you put into your work with horses. I asked about eye contact in a previous comment. Could you just mention eye contact? Whether it’s important, not important, what it means, if it means anything or how it affects the horse. Thank you very much.
I am watching your RUclips video on She is biting bucking. while you’re in her pen and talking about her bubble my question is are you looking her in the eye? I have heard that looking a horse in the eye (at different times) is appropriate and sometimes it’s not appropriate because of creating fear or dominance. I’m not sure. Can you discuss that? or do you have a video discussing eye contact with horses? Thank you so much
@@cyndidaves5313 that’s a great question. I’ll make a video!
@@peartreeranch Very glad to hear this. I can hardly wait to view it.
Love it. I keep telling people to stop with all these aids and bits. Just work with your horse.

@@cayceeadams he’s a great one for sure
luckily this horse found the right humans to help show it how to be a balanced, confident happy horse. Thank everyone involved. I love seeing when they figured out what's being asked and their aloud to choose how to handle the situation. Their whole world changes. There's nothing sweeter than the soft eye of a horse
Well done. Thank you, "says" the horse. Great content.
Ooow nice! Not even touching their neck. Did you come up with this? Beautiful relaxed energy vibe. By golly the horse was hypnotized. lol
Jake can you recommend a good rope halter? I ordered one on Amazon, said one size fits all but it was tiny.

You are riding with just a string , giving clever ideas to new and old horse people , yet you still get criticized. I think you are a very skilled trainer. Ignore the haters.

Love the Remmy song, she really came a long way, she has great owner
👍👍🍺🍺🥃🥃
Remmy is so beautiful and smart. So glad her owner found you. Has to be rewarding seeing her progress and her reunited with her owner. You should be proud of what youve accomplished and given Remmy and her owner a new life.
So happy to see how far she’s come ❤
I've recently seen a film by Clever Cowgirl of a horse called Pete that she bought in a really bad way. This horse was so traumatised in just two weeks that he seems to have permanent mental health problems, and she knows he can't be safely rehomed so she just keeps him at her barn, living a peaceful life with her other horses. ruclips.net/video/JRBwjNGSt_k/видео.html. I'm so glad Remmy has been able to learn trust and has a bright future, it seems there must be many lovely horses who have been mistreated and as a result develop behavioural problems that are too hard to fix and the future is not good for them. The horse business in the UK is very different so I find it very interesting and educational to watch some of these videos.
About time the horse gets revenge
Jake, seeing you work with this extremely difficult horse, has made you one of my heroes as a horse trainer. But Devan, you are my ultimate hero as a horse owner. You took on an extremely difficult horse, realized it was beyond your scope, and left that horse in capable hands. So many people assume that they can do something themselves if they learn how, but i don't think this horse could have been worked with successfully by very many professionals, and probably many less amateurs. And not only did you do right by a horse that most people would have given up on, you successfully learned what was needed by this individual horse to work in harmony with her. You are the real MVP here. Also, shoutout to Jake's wife who clearly helped support this in various ways. Not trying to downplay what Jake did in any way. He's amazing at his job and I aspire to be half as good.
@@jmwhorsemanship thanks for all the support and kind words. We are a team work makes the dream work family!
He has the "I love Jake" look already!
Omg. You saved her!
