The Copy Centre Graphic Design building was my father's hardware store on the main floor through the 50's and 60's. Next door (Svitoch) was Arfa's Ukrainian Gifts and Thailand Foods was Picnic Lunch Restaurant. The back half of the Avenue Meats building was my grandparent's hardware store facing McGregor St.

There's lots of interesting history about this site too

That's crazy low water . I was there only twice in 99 and 00 but both times people were sliding down those falls , it shows our water deficit well . Anyway thanks for these great videos of our home province . It really irks me how little attention our beautiful province gets .

I love Birds Hill Park. The Manitoba government back in the sixties did a lot of great work , I'm thinking of Birds Hill Park Grand Beach Provincial Park and the floodway just for a start . I really believe that if the government of the day had not have secured this land that it would be very different today. I'm sure that it would have been converted to upper end sub divisions years ago. Anyway thank you very much for making such well filmed peaceful videos to us , without a bunch of dumb music.

That's a pretty common example of some days here in the Peg. Nothing to get upset ,about slow and steady and you'll get to your destination. This winter has been pretty easy other than a couple of pretty cold weeks, but lots of sunshine.
