no one can ever convince me paulie wasnt a good big brother to adrian even from the beginning. him distracting security so she can slip in the ring, love that subtle detail. he made me cry in rocky 6 (deleted scene i think or it might be in the movie cant remember) when he was talking about how he misses her and how feels like he was always mean and never did right by here. she knows you loved her paulie boy she knew u just showed it differently

The best part is the unspoken apology by Paulie…trying to get Rocky’s attention then Adrian is like Paulie? And he lifts the ring rope for her to go under. It’s amazing.

This movie is special because it shows men’s masculinity at its purest expression. Discipline, courage, motivation, training, healthy self esteem. And the most impressive attitude from Rocky is to be a one woman man. At the end he is satisfied because he went beyond and gave his best on the fight, and the only thing that wants is to be next to the woman that showed him what true love is, because glory and money won’t give him the true happiness he’s looking for

And no one noticed how nice looking Adrian became from the moment she lost her hat and glasses 🤓

One of the best endings ever. No villains. Nothing but love from everyone. Apollo didn't want to hurt Rocky anymore Butch wanted to end the fight to protect Apollo. Micky wanted Rocky to stay down. Adrianne had to look away. Great acting all around. RIP Carl Weathers.

Not a fight fan at all and was reluctant to see it when it opened but word of mouth gave it two thumbs up so I went and was very glad I did. I felt the same way about The Shawshank Redemption. A prison movie? No thanks. Another great movie!

Apollo was used to knocking out his opponents in 3 rounds. Even though Rocky did not win the championship title, he won by both hurting Apollo and going the distance. After this fight, the loser was relaxed and having fun while the champion was frustrated over not being able to knock out his opponent.

Lets be honest aside from the acting and editing. The soundtrack gave this great movie the emotion.
