Thank you so much for this informative video doc! I'm going to try this technique the next time I have a cramp; I hope it works. I naturally flex my foot back when I get foot cramps and now I know why I intuitively do that. Thanks for the explanation.

I'm obese and when I get a cramp(s) it's very difficult to get up from bed; what I've discovered and helps, is to relax my entire body to the point that it all sinks, then after a few seconds to minute (most of the time) my cramps go away... If on my recliner and unable to bend my knees to lock the footrest, then I need help from my wife to yank off unto my feet and walk off the cramp(s). Hope this helps other & thanks for this video I'll this doctor's example.

My toes, feet, and calves tend to cramp and I've found just bending my leg helps. I used to have to get up and walk around until it quit but then I found this way. I've also found if I rotate my ankle when sitting it seems to help prevent them. Works for me!

I had one last night while sleeping. I woke up and immediately felt it coming. I’ve had them before. I managed to roll over and screamed in pain into my mattress so I wouldn’t wake anyone up. I put my hand on my calf and could feel the muscle freaking out. It was absolute 10/10 pain, worst thing I’ve felt in years.

I had a cramp in both thighs, both calves, both feet last night at the same time.I stood up next to the bed in extreme pain and unable to move. I was sweating bad and lean over the bed and the next thing was I awoke on the floor. I must have passed out from the pain. I finally made it back in bed and used a heating pad. The was the most pain I ever felt in my life! I believe it was because I over exerted my muscles moving heavy stuff all day. Now tonight I’ve done everything suggested on RUclips. Teaspoon of mustard, pickle juice, Apple cider vinegar, food with magnesium, magnesium supplements, krill, vitamin, green tea, and lots of water all day. Thanks for this method but if that happens again I’ll need 6 sets of hands! 😂 I never want this to happen again! ❤

@@RVFreeDa Oh jeez I’ve had bad cramping before but nothing like what happened to you. Inner thigh cramps, calf cramps and just recently hand cramps. I can’t move my hand or fingers with a hand cramp. Quite painful but only lasts maybe 30 seconds. Getting old isn’t easy. Magnesium helps but not all the time. I’m less active due to foot problems and now liver cancer. I’m sure that contributes to the problem. Words to the wise, don’t get cancer to cure your cramps. Unfortunately that might be my final solution!

Last week I was getting Fragmin 12500 injections 4 days and on Apiksaban Teva 5mg pills 2x1 per day for next two weeks. I am so afraid to start with new chemo treatment which is in a week, that even if these pills start working that it will all get worse. I found a video, Dr. Joel Wallach talking about Aneurysms. In the video he says taking copper will reverse Varicose Veins. I bought some Copper Gluconate. Started taking 4 mg a day.2 mg in the morning 2 mg in the evening. Took around 6 months but my calf muscles which were really bad went back to normal. In the video he says use Chelated Copper.

i've tried most /all of these. Mustard used to work years ago but no more. Take lots of magnesium, potassium, pickle juice helps if ive been sweating. Kept a log and found that any form of pepper brings cramps later that night. Only Hylands Cramp pills under the tongue helps until i can execute a BM but only for 15 minutes before another pill is needed. Cramps can be in calf, outside of leg, front of leg, all 5 toes at once and in hands if i play cards the evening after consuming food with pepper (red pepper is worst). Hard to find food without pepper (called "spices" on labels), it's even in ranch dressing. And, its in the tumeric supplements I take. I'll try the magnesium oil spray, haven't tried that one yet.
