    Over 2 years of begging doctors I am having these issues a simple blood and you are fine, i went to the hospital a few times, different clinics, whoever would take me, finally one morning this crazy pain woke me up had to call EMS to come get me they dropped me off in the morning 7 - 8 AM, they left me in the isle way best part of the day then finally this I believed to be a doctor said nothing wrong will discharge you, I said listen pal I can't stand on my feet how am I going to get there, well he scratched his ass and said I could give you another test and next thing I know they are wheeling me to the operating room and told me I needed an emergency operation for this big hole in my stomach has to be fixed immediately I was in the hospital about 2 weeks and then was discharged never heard from the doctor who did the deed she went on vacation. about one month went by and I get this call from cancer clinic giving me the good news, stomach cancer, great now what, I show up and the doctor couldn't give me an answer, I asked what specific one was it he said gastric okay but from what I read there are different names depending where on the stomach okay next, what stage am I at because a few years have transpired since my troubles he said I don't know but I would guess stage 3, this guy must have xray vision, needless to say I am not so sure about these answers so I said let me ponder for awhile he warned me the cancer is very aggressive and I am thinking how does this guy even know I have this issue. So I went back and asked if they could check me again I? said they took my stomach out what if that was all that was there, the good doctor said usually that is how it works, but what if I happen to be the lucky one and find out all the trouble I went through was not necessary, is it too hard to run another test just to know for sure and finally they set me up for some scan, I get that done on the 28 of March so I still don't know, this is in Canada which has the worst medicare known to mankind, big deal if it's free nothing is free you are charged through taxes, you get what you pay for this thing has been bugging me for over 2 years which means that if it spread was because of incompetence not neglect, they didn't even check and so get to charge the government for the whole ride even if there was no cancer Be very careful out there integrity is a swear word, they would have made me go through the misery of chemoradiation without knowing for certain if it really is necessary, I can't say for certain until the test results come in but there is a possibility that it could have only affected the stomach part, the bottom line was they were not positive if I was infected and only assumed the full treatment was necessary without certainty, be careful out there folks are money hungry and will do anything to make more even by making you suffer..

    I agree with you . Im being tested ffor cancer now and having biopsy etc . Ive already told my doctors, than i dont want chemo or radiotherapy.. ..but them again i dont have kids, just a wife . I guess everyones story and health is different . My view in general is that quality is better than quantity The sound if poisoning, killing the body , just to stay alive a few more months .. ..sounds horrendous to me. My pets had cancer and died, but ive heard pets have weaker courses of chemo What makes me angry is that there has been many cures discovered, for cancer ..yet the medical world is reluctant to let people have them... Rumors are , the staff want to keep their jobs and careers going by keeping us sick and dying etc . The cancer business world is very cruel , i find

    My doc that did my ankle surgery 2 months ago keeps dismissing me even when my X-rays shows a part of bone avulsion. No cast, no nothing. And I knew docs are like this and I always told myself to stay clear of hospitals, yet here I am in this situation. 😥

  • @eden7440
    @eden7440 Год назад

    When I check videos over utube and see the enormity of people who are seriously I'll and who's docs dismiss them saying nothing is wrong with them, I am appalled!!! How many have needlessly suffered or died from the inadequate dismissive care of these overpaid medical people (at least in the US) with god-like complexes. Take your medical care into your own hands. You know your own body better than any doctor. I did and do and I ended with a surgery that saved my life. I don't know how medical care is outside the US but care everywhere has advanced tremendously so diagnostics are immensely improved.

      Patients' health insurance and drug companies are mostly to blame. They dictate what care to provide. And malpractice premiums are so high that doctors hav been feeling the financial pinch for decades now. All the good people are suffering.

    I was 34 when diagnosed with stomach cancer. It started with difficulty swallowing food. I went to my doctor and was told it was acid reflux. I went back to my surgery five times in a month as my eating became more difficult and I was losing weight, and feeling very tired all the time. After I made a proper nuisance of myself with the doctor, they referred me to a hospital, I think just to get rid of me. They still insisted there was nothing wrong me! At the hospital they also said I had nothing wrong with me! But as I had private health care, I used that and of course they agreed to do a procedure to check things out, as it was being paid for by my insurance. They put a camera down my throat and found a large tumour at the top of my stomach. I then had a CT scan and operation to stage the cancer. I was first told it was terminal, but when the images from the operation came back it looked not to have spread. I then had a PET scan to see if it had spread, but it hadn't. So, I had a slim chance to beat this... by now I could not eat at all and had lost a lot more weight. I was very ill at this stage. I was put on a feeding tube and then just two weeks into chemo I was able to eat again. I did four months of chemo, put all my weight back on and felt much better. I then did two months of radio therapy with reduced chemo. By the end of this I was very tired. I then had surgery to remove my stomach, spleen and some of my liver. I took 3 months to recover and slowly got back to being OK. I do have problems with food and I get the shits a lot and have to get B12 injections every 2 months, but hey... this was 18 years ago and I am still here. My advice, if you think something is wrong, get it checked quickly and do not take no for an answer if you still feel ill. Get a second opinion if you have to. Do not give up! A lot of doctors will be dismissive of cancer when you are so young, they were with me, yet I had all the classic symptoms. Thankfully, the doctors who treated me for the cancer were amazing. That was at Addenbrookes in Cambridge, England. Thanks so much guys for giving me a life.

      So glad you persisted and found the right care. How many cancers have been missed because of age, Drs think your too young, 🤷‍♀️ its a lesson for every one ☝️ Drs, patience, we all learn something from it. Cancer is possible at any age. Thank you for sharing your story, and what a positive story it is. I wish you health and happiness always. 🙏

      Hey sir, I'm also diagnosed with stomach cancer at 36. Because of 3 months of Gastric Outlet obstruction and huge weight loss, my doctor advised me to go surgery first then Chemo. (I have also taken a second opinion that was the same). Surgery was done on 16 August 2023. Today was on 8th September 2023 taking the first session of Chemo. Plan: FOLFOX 6 session+ 1 month Radiation + FOLFOX 4 Session But now I am thinking that something is wrong. I could have taken chemo before surgery. This is in my mind. Now what should be my plan...? Will you please help me sir ? Should I go for one more surgery after completing the chemoradiation course ? I'll be very thankful if you please help me out. Love from India.
